Responded to Hyatt's offer of 5 nights for $300 as a promotion for their new residence club. Paid an upgrade to get an ocean front room. Had a nice room on the 8th floor. Only real drawback here was having to be gone everyday from 5:30 unless you wanted to relive the luau every night. It is very load. The... More

This is the kind of resort you "save up for" and plan to spend top dollar. In this review, I will share with you some optional items you might want to consider spending to make your stay here even more luxurious, and at the end I will tell you some bullet points about how to get the best view, how... Razzygirl, Thank you for your great review! We do try our best to have everything a guest would need here so they focus on relaxing and enjoying the island. I know you said it was a once in a lifetime trip, but I hope that you are able to come back and enjoy the hotel again. -Cassie B Guest Relations More

Friendly staff. Luau is decent. We were there during construction so it was a little noisy. Rooms are average sized but clean. A short walk to shopping and restaurants. Loved the view from our room and we saw humpback whales breaching every morning.

We started here for a week as part of visiting 2 islands in Hawaii. For a large hotel this was well laid out with lovely gardens dividing up the space so it never felt packed. There are even penguins in the lobby! The pool is huge (and deep - 3m in areas - great) and well landscaped with waterfalls and... More

We have stayed at this Hyatt on several occasions. This stay was by far the downside of our trip to Hawaii. The good...Regency Club is always a good choice. We love the water slide! The bad...I know this will fall on deaf ears, but it is crazy to charge $16 to park a LONG way away and then tack on... More

We were invited on a deal to stay for a really good rate provided we sat through the timeshare presentation for the property they are building next door. Clearly, the focus is on that, as the room we were provided had a door that looked as though someone tried to pry into and the floor had a giant Kool Aid... More

Stayed here for 3 days while on a Perillo Tour. This is such a great resort. As with everything in Hawaii this is an expensive place to stay and to eat, but it is well worth the price. There was not a thing to stay in the negative. The staff, the rooms, the food, and the amenities were top notch.... More

We celebrated our 25th anniversary by coming back to where we spent our honeymoon...Hyatt Maui. The grounds and amenities were just as we remembered them. But what made our stay fabulous was the above-and -beyond service we received from the front desk agents Shari, Amanda, Ashley, and Moni who found us a terrific room and followed up several times to... Hubby and I had an amazing vacation on Maui at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived to the very sad moment when we checked out. The rooms are beautifully appointed and provided all the comforts of home. the in-room coffee pot made single and double cups. Each day complimentary bottled... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for our Honeymoon and we could not have been happier. We originally booked an ocean view however were upgraded to a Deluxe Oceanfront room on the top floor of the Atrium.
