A very comfortable, relaxing and friendly B&B in an ideal location for exploring Haleakala and the surrounding coutryside. The rooms are spacious with good balconies on the upper floor which was perfect for looking at both sides of the island whilst enjoying a drink.

We enjoyed staying at the UpCounty B&B in Kula. The house was lovely and our room was very comfortable. There was a great view from the deck. Michael was very helpful and knowledgeable. Gabby the dog was a sweetie. We liked the Kula area. It's a good location with good restaurants nearby.

This B&B is superbly situated for a trip to the Haleakala National Park for a sunrise experience. Michael is extremely knowledgeable on all the aspects and preparations needed for the trek up the mountain.
