My fiancée and I had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Garden back in July of 2014. We spent 3 nights there as a “base camp” for some activities we had planned to do in Haleakala to end our 2 week trip in Maui. Anne, the owner, was an excellent host. Right away she gave us a little tour of the... More

Driving from Hana to Kula (Pilani Highway), Moonlight Garden was the perfect place to stop for three nights. We stayed at the Mahina cottage, which was great : it's a very "cosy" cottage (including all amenities) located in a wonderful garden with a nice view overlooking the hills down to the sea. Anne was a very helpful host, and we... More

We stayed at Moonlight Garden for three nights and were delighted! It isn't really a Bed & Breakfast as we would understand it...we were in Mahina Cottage which is completely self-contained so we had it all to ourselves. Breakfast items for the first morning were supplied. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious, well furnished and totally private. It had... More

We spent four nights in the Mahina cottage in March and it was awesome. The cottage is very spacious, immaculately kept, and beautifully decorated. Anne was most gracious and helpful, provided us with lots of good information about the island, including great information on the back road from Hana that saved us a good two hours of travel time on... We stayed 3 nights in the Lehua cottage and would highly recommend it. The view from the back porch is stunning, you can see half of the island and watch the sun set over the Pacific. While the decor and finishes are a little dated, the entire cottage was exceptionally clean and did not show the slightest signs of wear.... More

This place is truly paradise in Upcountry. Fortunate to stay a week here this year in the very lovely Lehua Cottage. The most amazing sunsets from the deck! The most amazing flowering shrubs and trees on the property and the warmth of Anne and Marvin! All make for a perfect retreat. Proximity to Haleakala, the lavender farm and the most... More

We spent 3 nights in the Mahina cottage. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We had a very large and private patio with a great sitting area for enjoying our morning coffee or a beautiful sunset. Anne was very friendly and we received a very warm welcome when we arrived. She spent alot of time with us when we... More

We stayed our first 2 nights in Hawaii in Mahina Cottage at the Moonlight Garden B&B. It was lovely! The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bed and pillows are amazing. The kitchen is huge with lots of counter space. Anne and Marvin are wonderful, and make you feel right at home. The lanai is huge. I spent many... More

Stayed in the spacious Lehua Cottage for two nights....now fantasizing about living there for a month! Books early and has many repeat visitors, so my dream will probably remain just that....Anne and Marvin have created an amazing calm, exquisite homestead in Kula. Incredible views, on 8 acres of lush land filled with flowering plants, fruit trees, etc. they are both... More

These wonderful folks have thought of everything you might need. The cottage was immaculate and the gardens were beautiful. The papaya, passion fruit, yoghurt and muffins for breakfast were just perfect. When Anne learned I enjoyed gardening and nature, she shared some treasured books to enhance my stay. Did I mention the stars, at night the sky is unbelievably beautiful... More
