We stopped here the way down from Haleakala (as usual!) And had a lovely lunch. Yes, the service is a bit laid back but the owner, who always serves us, was very pleasant and friendly. We had a nice chat with him and he informed us he had been there for 25 years. We have been going approximately every 3-4... More

We stayed a couple of nights here while exploring the Upcountry area of Maui. The location of the cottages is close to the entrance (less than 30 minutes) of Haleakala National Park, so it saved us getting up 2 hours earlier to see the sunrise. The views from the cottage are spectacular. We could see the west Maui Mountains, the... More

Stayed one night. Quaint and clean accommodations. No refrigerator in the room which was a problem for us although the staff did provide a cooler with ice which helped some. Lots of small gnats inside when windows were open even though there were screens. Biggest complaint is that housekeeping came to clean our room as we were moving our stuff... More

My first night in Maui was spent here and they could not have been more accommodating. I wanted to see the Haleakula sunrise first thing, and they gave me some tips and it cut off quite a bit of time by staying so close to the park entrance. When I returned, I went down to the restaurant for a really... More

We ate here for lunch after driving up to Haleakala. Such a cute place with very personal service. I had a Kailua pork sandwich, hubby had a burger. They came with a slaw & tortilla chips. Slaw could have had more dressing as it was only drizzled on the cabbage. We were greeted by owner & his young son. Meal... More

We stayed two nights while visting the Upcountry Kula area. This was the perfect location to launch of first day of activity visiting Haleakala National Park for sunrise. The drive was a quick 11 miles to the Park entrance. There was no need to get up extremely early because of the ideal location... so nice to be close to Haleakala... More

We did an excursion to the Haleakala summit for sunrise and then biked our way down. We stopped for breakfast here which was a midway point down the mountain on our bikes. We were 3 people who ordered breakfast. My husband and I had a breakfast sandwich; my sister had scrambled eggs. The bill was $40. Coffee was mediocre and... More

Quite closer to Haleakala National Park. Great lodge if you want to see sunrise on the summit. The room is big and clean and quiet! We have a great sleep on that day. It's a little bit on the hill so you won't be bothered by the passing cars on the road. The owner is so nice to help us... More

My husband and I stayed here the first night of our recent trip to Maui. The cabins are comfortable and clean. It felt like spending the night at camp, but with better amenities. Great views overlooking the West Maui mountains and the valley. Our cabin had a queen sized bed and was tastefully furnished. The best part was the quiet... More

We stopped by late morning on an upcountry drive. No one else was in the place. We both ordered the eggs benedict, which were, (and I am an expert) the best I have ever had. The owners were both there. The husband waited on us and was very friendly, and his wife, who does the cooking, came out and told... More
