My first reaction upon arrival was - WTH this is not 5 stars (we booked through Interval International which had the property listed as 5 stars) but after checking in and settling in I quickly came to appreciate the place. We got a two bedroom two batch room which had a nice size kitchen and living room. We traveled with... More

Our trip to Maui was excellent! We were here from April 14th to 21st, 2015. We went to the Haleakala Volcano, Pipiwai trail and learned surfing! It was amazing. The forecast for the week was cloudy with chances of rain. It looked like it was like that everywhere but Kihei! The weather here was always sunny. Our hotel condominium was... More

We just got back from a 10 night stay at the Maui Banyan. We have been coming to Hawaii for 19 years and when staying on Maui (for ten years) we always select the Maui Banyan. We travel on a budget and have always felt that the Maui Banyan is a perfect alternative to the more expensive resorts along with... More

Aloha Smith Family, Thank you for choosing the Aston Maui Banyan for your place of accommodations during your recent trip to South Maui, and for participating in our on-line survey. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the discrepancies you discovered with the cleanliness of your unit, in particular the floor carpet. Thank you for calling this to my attention. I... More

You are steps away from the beach and lots of shopping. The furnishings are older but keep with the tropical theme. The room had a refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave. The television had basic cable and you get a free DVD rental. Internet access, a continental breakfast, with a tour talk were also complimentary. Parking was a little walk from... More

We stayed recently and had a pretty good time here. Kihei is definitely a condo town and it was easy to relax and settle in here for the week. We began with a trip to the best costco ever and headed to the condo. The location is great! Though not beach front, there is nothing in front of the condos... More

We arrived in the middle of the night. Poor flight times. The reception area was closed. We called the number on the sign and a security guard brought us our room key and paperwork. Our room was old, smelly and gross. I told my son to keep his shoes on because the carpet was filthy. We couldn't complain because the... More

Everyone working there, were very helpful and kind. The room was excellent , close to the beaches. I would return again. Just steps away from those Maui Sunsets from the beach. Walking distance to stores and restaurants

We just got back from our Hawaii trip where we stayed at the Maui Banyan. It was a $16 cab ride from the airport which was a nice surprise. We stayed there for a week. Loved that it was directly across the road from the beach. One day we spent the day on the beach and saw whales and dolphins... More

We enjoyed our seven day stay AFTER we finally found the place! Highway signs on Maui are not always easy to find. We didn't see a sign for 311 coming off of 380 from the airport. There is no sign out front saying "ASTON at the Maui Banyan". Look very carefully for a small "Maui Banyan" sign (see attached). The... More

Throw away all the bad reviews, this place was exceptional!! We needed a one-nighter before moving to our timeshare just up the beach. Picked this as much for convenience as anything, with no great expectations. Read various reviews while in transit, and we're concerned what we would find. Arrived and were upgraded from standard room to a suite, G409, which... More
