This is a nice place to stay if you get lucky. Kamaolie Sands has low standards for the owners of the condos. That means some condos are nice and others are dumps. Our condo was one of those dumps. The bed was a joke. It would have been more relaxing to sleep on a slab of concrete. We got close... More

My sister and I definitely enjoyed Kamaole Sands. The evenings were very relaxing and comfortable and the accommodations were very nice. There was only one thing and that was the shower drain seem to be clogged in the downstairs bathroom. But we got around that because we enjoyed being there. We have already recommended it to others.

Like other reviews, it depends on the unit you get. Ours was a bit outdated, but still for the price, couldn't really complain too much. We had 1 bedroom with additional pull out couch but the springs were so broken, it really shouldn't have been listed as available to be rented by anything more than 2 people. So close to... More

I have been going to Maui over 25 years. This is definitely my resort of choice. I find the Kihei area much more relaxing, less busy than the Lahaina area. The grounds of Kamaole Sands are beautifully designed and maintained with so many trees and flowers of every kind. The pool area is nice and the water is just right.... More

1st visit for 1 week in August 2011 for 50th Anniversary. Had a good time so decided to try again for 2 weeks in October this year. Booked through Pleasant Holidays for air/car/lodging and requested 2nd floor garden view. We hit the jackpot with 7-210 a totally refurbished 1 bedroom/2 bath unit. Fantastic kitchen with brand new appliances and plenty... More

These are private condos that are rented out. We had a 1 bed / 2 bath unit. Nice layout, full kitchen. It is located in a resort area of Kihei with lots of restaurants, shops, stores, supermarkets close by. There are many other condo buildings in this area. Beach is across the street. Property is big so there is a... More

We stayed in this condo resort in September. There were 5 of us and we had a 3 bedroom condo. Our condo was nice enough but lacked a bit in the cleanliness department. Also the air conditioner was to small to effectivly cool off the entire condo so we were quite uncomfortable and hot most of the time. We chose... More

I have stayed at condos in Kihei more than 50 times in the last 10 years so feel comfortable knowing what value is when staying at condos in Maui. If you don't have time to read the whole review, this is why I would beware of staying in this condo- 1. unresponsive management to problems, 2. dirty condo throughout, 3.... More

Stayed for 9 nights at the Kamaole Sands and had a wonderful stay! We were in Building 4 unit #204. We enjoyed the large lanai and having a kitchen was great for our stay. We ate in and also at restaurants during our vacation which was a nice combination. Had dinner at Mulligans on the Blue, Irish pub & restaurant... More

Our family has come to these condos on several occasions. Condos are great size (two bathrooms is a bonus). The landscaping is awesome and CLEAN. Overall the condo is really quiet. The Mai Tai Wednesdays at the pool is always fun for the whole family. This location is great for families of all ages, as well as couples! Some of... More
