We stayed at Hale Kamaole 307 for the month of February 2009. This was out third trip to Maui but our first at Hale Kamaole. The location is hard to beat. This is based first on the location on Maui. Hale Kamaole seems close to everything. Walk to the beach or take short drives to other sites on the island.... more

We recently stayed in unit #254, booked directly through the condo owner (greatmauicondo.com). My mother had stayed in the complex previously, but not in this specific unit. The complex is clean, with well-kept grounds. There are two pools, a tennis court and outdoor charcoal grills available for use. The unit we stayed in was a 2-bedroom plus loft, sleeping a... more

We booked our condo through Condominium Rentals Hawaii who directed us to the owners of unit 129. The owners were very open to questions and concerns we had. We arrived Memorial Day weekend and after 5 1/2 hours of non-stop flying we arrived to a nice clean condo! We loved it. The kitchen is awesome. I am a cook and... more

Hale Kamaole is situated right on South Kihei road. If you get a room close to the road you get traffic noise. If you get a room in the back, the gardeners with their leaf blowers and very loud gas powered lawn movers and trimmers get you. It seems they have to trim or mow grass everyday, and their high... more

We just returned from a very enjoyable two week trip to Maui. For the first week my wife and myself stayed in a one bedroom unit (#231) and were joined for the second week by four other family members (including our two year old grand-daughter) when we stayed in a two bedroom plus loft unit (#252). We found the accommodation... more

Just returned from the HK where we rented three, separate 1-bedroom units for a week (for three adult couples). Each of the three units was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We have stayed many times at the HK and continue to be pleased with individual units as well as the overall ambience of the facility. As an example, we were... more

We have stayed at this location a number of times ad we have always been ver happy. We were unable to rent our regular unit so we stayed in Unit 144 - what a mistake@ This unit is seriously in need of upgrading. The white shag carpet is filthy and the owners have done very little to it. There were... more

My family of four stayed at the Hale Kamaole for 16 days in June. We rented the condo directly from the owner through vrbo.com. Property #25005. The condo, unit #154, was a roomy, one bedroom/one bath with living area and lanai. I really can't say enough about the condo. It was wonderfully decorated, clean (tile floors), the kitchen had everything... more

This is a great condo for the budget minded. Rented directly thru the owner with VRBO. Clean, comfy, everything worked, lots of extras like snorkel gear, coolers etc. Directly across from a great swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling beach. Minutes away rom the fabulous Wailea beaches. Would recommend to anyone looking to get the most out of your $$. more

We recently stayed at Hale Kamaole for a week and were very happy with our choice. We stayed in #265 which is rented by the owner directly. The place comes with everything you need to have a wonderful stay by the beach. The condos are located directly across (read: walking distance) from Kamaole Beach III where there was some decent... more
