While I found the accomodations satisfactory, this place is mainly for those who want to do their own thing. Housekeeping is the area that needs to be addressed as it's spotty. Given the cost, I think more personalization and perhaps better linens/towels could be expected. Onsite there is laundry, a full outdoor kitchen, and a nice pool. The owner is... more

My new wife and I loved our stay at Aloha Pualani. We were there for a week in late June and stayed in the Orchid Suite. See the pictures for good shots of that suite. Our room was comfortable and very clean when we arrived, and the staff kept it that way throughout our stay. Every day at some point... more

My husband and I spent our honeymoon on Maui for 7 nights at the Aloha. Overall, this boutique hotel is wonderful - very private and quiet, beautifully decorated and conveniently located to the airport as well as within an hour of many things to do on Maui. On the flip side, there were a few negatives to be brought up... more

We just love this place. It's just like having your own apartment on Maui. We were able to BBQ, and cook our own food, and relax by the poolside. The location was great because it was away from all the traffic of Lahaina. We definitely will be coming back here if we come back to Maui. more

We stayed in the Bamboo suite for 4 nights in March. The suite itself was beautiful; huge spacious rooms, gorgeous decor and spotlessly clean. The owner (Sherry) was really pleasant, although it would have been nice to have seen a bit more of her - especially as we were the only guests staying and so had the whole place to... more

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon (she found the place via Trip Advisor). We enjoyed the central location in Maui with easy access to beaches toward Wailea and Makena. Restaurants are only a few minutes away and golf courses abound. Also, many of the typical tourist activites (ie- snorkel trips, whale watching, hiking) can be found in... more

The last thing this hotel needs is another glowing review, but its going to get one anyway. I cant fault the accomodation or location for that matter. This is one fantatsic little hotel, five or six rooms, and we stayed in the Gardenia room, which was simply wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, and the rest of the furnishing's done... more

We LOVED this hotel. We stayed here for our honeymoon this January and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was quiet, comfy, and relaxing. We wanted a place where we could truly relax and be away from the masses. We loved having our own space and being able to share the pool and outdoor grill/bar with just a few... more

My wife and I spent 8 nights at Aloha Pualani, and we wanted to stay another week. We travel regularly due to the nature of our work. So, we seek more intimate, small, and less crowded hotels. Aloha Pualani was simply perfect. I would recommend this hotel to couples who want to spend time with each other and at the... more

Be smart...if you are reading this in contemplation of a trip to Maui and want a centrally located, contemporary condo to retreat to...book Aloha Pualani now! I'll start with the cons... First, it's located in Kihei. Kihei is not nice and is not the Hawaii of the brochures - it is busy, frenetic and full of traffic. That being said... more
