This place is simply awesome! If you like big resorts that cater to your every need and charge you for everything imaginable in between - this is NOT the place for you. If you like a quiet vacation with all the things a resort has to offer, but more centrally located to see Maui - you should DEFINITELY STAY HERE.... more

Aloha Pualani is a great place to stay when you want to be away from it all. The B&B is well-kept and quiet. The room we stayed in (Lotus Suite) was like a home away from home. Everything you might need is there for you. Real close to the beach too. more

It was early May when I asked my very best friend of several years to travel with me to Maui, Hawaii for a fun and beautiful vacation. I looked at all the available hotels and lodging on Trip Advisor for the Kihei area, then instantly focused on Aloha Pualani in the B&B/Inns category. Aloha Pualani was quite prominent in Trip... more

I was in Maui for a wedding and had planned my entire trip with my girlfriend (at the time of making arrangements). We were no longer dating at the time of the trip, however, she was still going to join me after the wedding, but got cold feet after I had already arrived in Maui. Not being a man to... more

We selected the Aloha Pualani from reviews on trip advisor for our vacation in Maui. Sherry had e-mailed precise instructions for arrival, location (next to mile marker-1), and had provided a few small food items in the kitchen as we would be arriving around 9.00 pm at night. We ended-up arriving three hours early but all was in place on... more

Beautiful rooms with a lot of attention to detail, very nice pool and outdoor barbecue area. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive host, guests match the upmarket, but not flashy or overdone atmosphere - which can lead to pleasant socialising. The place is not cheap, but at a price tag that easily stands up against similar accommodations in the big resorts,... more

We have just returned from our vacation in Maui where we stayed for 10 days at the Aloha Pualani . This was our second stay at the Aloha Pualani ( we were there for 4 days in January 2008) and can easly say that it has to be the best place to stay in Maui in the Kihei area. We... more

While I found the accomodations satisfactory, this place is mainly for those who want to do their own thing. Housekeeping is the area that needs to be addressed as it's spotty. Given the cost, I think more personalization and perhaps better linens/towels could be expected. Onsite there is laundry, a full outdoor kitchen, and a nice pool. The owner is... more

My new wife and I loved our stay at Aloha Pualani. We were there for a week in late June and stayed in the Orchid Suite. See the pictures for good shots of that suite. Our room was comfortable and very clean when we arrived, and the staff kept it that way throughout our stay. Every day at some point... more

My husband and I spent our honeymoon on Maui for 7 nights at the Aloha. Overall, this boutique hotel is wonderful - very private and quiet, beautifully decorated and conveniently located to the airport as well as within an hour of many things to do on Maui. On the flip side, there were a few negatives to be brought up... more
