I was staying at the Sugar Beach Inn for one week a few days ago, and I got to say that it has the best "bed for the buck ratio" that I have experienced so far in Hawaii! I'have been in other hostels on Oahu and Maui in the price range of 25-38$ per night, and the Sugar Beach Inn... more

I got married in Maui this past July and my family plus my husbands family stayed in the Inn. We rented out this entire place, and it was a really good price too for 22 people staying there! There are 4 small apartments taking up the 1st floor of this inn, and the top floor is more like a huge... more

Now keep in mind that we did not actually stay at this place. We went to take a look at it, LOVED it, but they were already booked for the time we wanted to stay there. Someone rented out the entire place for a wedding. This is such a lovely, quiet, mature, pretty place right near the beach and bus... more

Maui Sugar Beach Inn was the perfect place for our family vacation. We rented the entire Inn for for two weeks for our 20th wedding anniversary celebration. We were a group of 24, consisting of grandma, couples, young adults, teens, tweens and little kids. There was plenty of space for all. This Inn is in a quiet neighborhood, yet close... more

My fiance and I actually live in Kihei. We stayed for about 3 days while our home was under construction and ended up liking the Inn better than our own home! Nice quiet and private rooms. My fiance is a chef and we really liked being able to stay somewhere paying the same price as a hotel and being able... more

W.hat great hospitality. Our flight arrived later than expected. We did not have a room for the night. We thought it would be easier to secure a room than it was. Thank God for Mary. No other hotels even answered the phone. She gave us directions and met us at the gate. The room felt like a cozy little apartment,... more

We were having a family reunion in Hawaii and that included small children and babies. Mary, at the Sugar Beach Inn was super about helping us (pac 'n plays, high chairs, beach toys, washing machine that we could use) and welcoming us instead of being dismayed. The Sugar Beach Inn has smaller units on the ground floor (one bedroom, kitchen,... more

We have been guests of Maui Sugar Beach Inn for 2 months. Since we are almost at the end of our stay, we wanted to post our thoughts on this remarkable little hidden gem of Maui. Upon reviewing some of the previous reviews we know the travellers have been referring to Maui Sugar Beach Resort rather than this small comfortable... more

Our vacation was extended when on our last day my wife was hospitalized. As it was during the high season, few rentals were available and in a pinch i called the Inn. Not only was Mary very accomodating, she made every effort to make sure I did not have any worries while my wife was in hospital. While I expected... more
