We spent the holidays in unit #309 and had a wonderful time! Snorkeling right off the beach we saw an octopus, several turtles, an eel plus a lot of colorful fish. Had a fantastic walk on the beach after sunset and enjoyed great boogie boarding waves. Appreciated the A/C and W/D in the unit. Watched whales from the very comfortable... More

This was our first time staying in this complex and it was fabulous. Right on the beach, next door to Sorrento's. You could not ask for a more beautiful location to watch the sunset every night. Walkable to Ulua beach for snorkeling with beautiful schools of tropical fish and a giant green sea turtle or two. Close to shops in... More

We stayed on unit 201, even though it was at the back of the building we had great little garden view very quiet. The unit was supplied with everthing we needed for our stay, including beach chairs, snorkling equipment, beach towels - lots of them. They asked that we launder them before we left, not an issue. Could not find... More

Love the place BUT the management of the condos is not very good!!! We were there last year and loved it so much that we booked and paid the reservation fee for a unit 2 years in advance. We were told by management that we could book the same room in 2013 for 2015. We booked the unit and received... More

First, the pros for Hale Hui Kai in Kihei (which far outweigh the cons): --Can't beat the location on delightful Keawakapu Beach --Friendly residents who gather sundowners every night --Your own kitchen (saves money and time going to restaurants) --Lovely gardens --Pool --Shaded verandah area with sofa and chairs (where you can spot whale spouts) --Shower right on beach --Good... This condo complex has a great vibe and our stay in 308 was great. The kitchen and living area with a nice view and the patio was the high point of the interior. The kitchen was SUPER well stocked with anything and everything you need to cook great meals. The whole place was actaully really well stocked. Beach towels, boogie... More

We've been to the Islands a few times, stayed with relatives, in condos, hotels, B&Bs, took care of my friend's rentals for a month in Waimanalo last year, so we know aloha and mahalo and Hale Hui Kai has it. Last time at Hale Hui Kai it was a special occasion and my Mother-In-Law took everybody, kids, grand-kids, in-laws, out-laws,... More

Had a great week at the Hale Hui Kai, Unit 305 was lovely. Both bedrooms had King size beds and two full bathrooms. Very comfortable. Unit had AC and was quite. Just steps to the most beautiful beach in Maui. Would definitely recomend. We are going to go back.

We recently spent 10 days on Maui at Hale Hui Kai. Unit 303 is clean, quiet, and air conditioned. As comfortable as the inside of this unit was, our favorite feature may have been the balcony with its fantastic ocean view. We spent a number of peaceful evenings watching gorgeous Hawaiian sunsets while revisiting the events of the day. Depending... More

If someday I call Martha & #308 is booked for years, I'll regret writing so positively! I've stayed at complex 4 times in different unit. 308 is very special - condo is renovated-everything sparkling new. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Complex is laid back & well-located. Go with beverage-sit on beach /chairs on the lawn & watch sunsets. Has A/C, but... More
