I booked unit 106 in Hale Hui Kai, and myself and my family absolutely loved it. The unit was clean and had all the amenities our family needed. The beach was by far my favourite on the island. We did day trips to other beaches (Makena and Wailea Beach), but Keawakapu (the beach in front of the condo) was spectacular.... More

My family and I have been coming to Maui since 1976 and Keawakapu Beach is my favourite. There are only a few places to stay if you want easy access to this beautiful beach and The Hale Hui Kai is by far the ultimate choice. We recently stayed in unit #106 and we just loved this place. The building only... More

We stayed in April in unit 210 and had a great time. The unit doesn't have air conditioning but this wasn't a problem with a sea breeze coming through the lounge room doors. (The owners had provided a means to leave these doors partially open of a night). The unit was equipped with everything we needed with wifi and cable... More

We really enjoyed this place, as it's location was perfect. Keawakapu beach is fantastic, and we just loved having it steps away from our ocean front unit. The unit itself was fully stocked with more than I've ever seen a unit stocked with, everything from a full array of cooking supplies to an abundance of towels for both beach and... More

Hale Hui Kai was our very favorite condo on Maui. We stayed here many times before moving to Maui. We always like the ocean front units the best. Each was furnished nicely. The views are fantastic. Wednesday mornings coffee & fresh pastry are served on the shaded patio overlooking the pool & ocean. Management is courteous & helpful. One stay... More

This condo complex is well maintained, the gardens make you feel like you live in a small rain forest. There are too many units, which adds to that feeling of being "at home". Tastefully decorated and very well stocked, which allows one to settle in quickly into a vacation. Nice boogie boards, towels, beach chairs just at hand. Just an easy... More

We stayed in 2 different units here and got to look into another one that was for sale. It really depends which unit that you rent, as to how good it is. Some of them have no air conditioning and do not get the trade wind breezes to cool off at night. Pros- The location of the condominium on the... More

We spent the holidays in unit #309 and had a wonderful time! Snorkeling right off the beach we saw an octopus, several turtles, an eel plus a lot of colorful fish. Had a fantastic walk on the beach after sunset and enjoyed great boogie boarding waves. Appreciated the A/C and W/D in the unit. Watched whales from the very comfortable... More

This was our first time staying in this complex and it was fabulous. Right on the beach, next door to Sorrento's. You could not ask for a more beautiful location to watch the sunset every night. Walkable to Ulua beach for snorkeling with beautiful schools of tropical fish and a giant green sea turtle or two. Close to shops in... More

We stayed on unit 201, even though it was at the back of the building we had great little garden view very quiet. The unit was supplied with everthing we needed for our stay, including beach chairs, snorkling equipment, beach towels - lots of them. They asked that we launder them before we left, not an issue. Could not find... More
