This B&B features two ground floor suites that are side-by-side and share an outside patio (each suite has its own patio table & chairs). The suites are separated by a thin wall and wooden door (so the two could be joined by two couples or a family). This means that you can hear virtually every sound from the next suite.... More

We stayed here from 1/28-2/4 in the Niu studio. I can not believe how beautiful, spacious, and clean this B&B is. The room has everything you need in it- bigger fridge (not a mini one- woohoo), new DVDs, cable, beach towels, beach items, and more. I am a neat freak and this place surpassed my expectations- especially for the price!... More

We were in Maui, Hawaii in Nov 2011 when we stayed at this Bed and Breakfast in Kihei. I wasn't really sure about this initially when my husband booked this place, but you bet he had done his research. The lady seemed very friendly and polite thorough the email exchanges that we had. And after meeting her in person i... More

Rather than stay at a hotel it is always a treat to find an out of the way b&b that is priced right and gives you the feel of being in a park. This b&b is located in a subdivision high up from Kihei Town but is only 3 miles from a major supermarket and the beach. It has just... More

We stayed at the Manako Cottage...everything was fantastic! The freshly baked bread and fruit for breakfast, the full kitchen + utensils, complimentary beach gear (chairs, towels, boogie boards, parasols, coolers etc), an awesome garden and Susan herself, a friendly and helpful host. Best of all was the house cat, Mike (we called him Tama.) He seemed to like to hang... More

This is a great B&B to stay at. There are many more amenities than Susan lists on her website. She bakes some delicious homemade bread and fruits every morning. There are coolers, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and more for use while staying there. She even let us check out and shower after our checkout and before our redeye flight.... More

My fiancé and I stayed at Hale Huanani Dec 3rd-9th for part of our Maui vacation and we are wishing we would have booked longer! Susan provides everything you need for the beach (umbrella, fresh towels daily, beach chairs and boogie boards). We appreciated the glad ware so we could pack our lunches for the beach daily! Breakfasts were such... More

Ditto the comments of previous reviewers. Special touches in decor, place settings and breakfasts - even home made pumpkin bread on Thanksgiving. We will make one suggestion. Although we did meet and socialize with the couple in the other studio, unlike many B&B's, the separate eating areas (a guest cottage will open soon) and the owner's demeanor don't encourage interactions. One of the best rooms I've stayed in, ever. The bed is so comfortable, I want to get one for house, I mean, I generally don't sleep well my first night in a new place, not a problem here. The decor is tasteful, Hawai'ian but not kitschy. The room is spacious, and refined. There's a well stocked bathroom, linen closet... More
