Hale Huanani B&B is definitely of one of the best places we've stayed at while we were touring in Maui, and is an excellent value for money. Chuck was a perfect host (we never met Susan, but we enjoyed the banana bread and "tropical" cookies she made for breakfast). Mai'a studio is very quiet and comfortable (with all amenities) and... We agree with many of the others reviewers...that Susan and Chuck have created special place for the Maui visitor who wants paradise on their terms. Breakfast is a special treat with home baked pastries and fresh fruit, served each day on unique place settings! The Carport area has a washer/dryer, which we used because we were there for 8 heavenly... More

My wife and I (frequent travelers) stayed here for four nights in the Mai'a studio. One of the best stays we've ever had in all our travels (not just B&Bs). Chuck and Susan have thought of everything a first time visitor to Maui would want and need and more. Chuck was a great host (we never met Susan), providing us... More

Aloha! My husband & I stayed in the beautifully decorated cottage. The cottage had everything we could possibly need to have a stellar vacation, & that we did! Lots of fun in the sun equipment for the beach, & yet we could stay "home" in comfort & enjoy all the amenities. (we even bar-b-qued!) We thoroughly enjoyed the warm muffins... More

I stayed at Hale Huanani in the fall of 2013 and enjoyed it so much I decided to make it a major part of my snowbird stay for the winter of 2013/2014. I stayed 7 weeks loved every minute of it. The Niu Studio was just as I remembered it, with a large king size bed, lovely linens, a large... More

While this is a bit more of a home stay than a true B&B, the friendly owners of this house have really thought about everything to make your stay perfect. To start with, this residential house sits high above the Kihei part of Maui. It is convenient to just about every part of this side of the island, but you... More

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Kihei, Maui, Hale Huanani (House of Beautiful Fruit) is as close as you can come to the perfect B&B. Susan and Chuck Hardy are your quintessential host. Chuck maintains a beautiful half acre garden which supplies much of the fruit served at breakfast. Susan, if not running the B&B could be a professional baker.... More

This was a wonderful place! Clean. Convenient. Extremely hospitable and warm. Great food. Susan and Chuck strike an excellent balance between being helpful and respecting your privacy. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the cottage over Christmas 2013. The B&B is conveniently located in Kihei – it’s only a 5 minute drive to restaurants, shopping and the board walk in Wailea. The hosts provided helpful information on beaches in the area. The little “extras” are very nice- snorkel equipment, coolers, body boards, so you won't need to pack any of... More

We stayed 12 days in the Niu studio and it was just GREAT. Hale Huanani is located just a short drive from bustling shops and restaurants of Kihei in a quiet neighborhood. Our studio was well equipped with all you need and even more (we didn´t use the TV or DVD-Player) - even toothbrushes were provided. What we didn´t expect... More
