I hesitate somewhat to give this a top rating but the location cannot be beaten. This is located just blocks from restaurants, snorkeling, and awesome sunsets. Tom is very helpful providing a tasty breakfast. Just communicate what you want and he goes out of his way to accommodate. We like to snorkel in the early morning and having a set... More

We spent 2 nights at Maui Homestay in Kihei. It was a pleasant 30 minute drive from the airport. The room was very nice. The small living room faces the kitchen area. There is a wall mounted TV that we watched while sitting on the very comfortable couch. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. The host Tom... More

Our 3 nights at Tom's place did not disappoint in any way. Tom was a relaxed and helpful host and it was fun to visit with him at breakfast. Our apartment was just right, everything we needed for simple cooking or eating take-out, a good bed, beach towels, an outside table. We stayed in the Mountain View suite, which was... More

Near Kihei's center and in a easy and quiet neighborhood. The Maui Homestay B&B offers a lovely stay, amazing host/owner/guide (Tom), "unexpected" breakfast, great rooms and an easy relaxed feel to it. This is how a B&B should be!!! :-) ...I hope I can get back to Maui and Tom's B&B soon again because I allready miss it!!!

We spent 6 nights on vacation in Maui and found the location of this B & B to be perfect. Easy 25 minute drive from the airport. In a quiet residential neighborhood, not on the ocean but a short walk or drive to the beaches, boat dock, Kihei restaurants, etc. Great place to set down roots and then go exploring.... More

This is a perfect B&B. This property is about 25 minutes from the airport and is easy to find. The host was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable. Very nice bathroom. You are only minutes away from the main stip along the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone. The price was excellent.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast on the deck was marvelous! Great view for our first morning in Hawaii. Tom was very helpful recommending places to see and very accomodating scheduling check-in, check-out and breakfast. "Big Beach" was one of our favorites.

A traveling buddy & I made a detour from a convention in Honolulu for a brief adventure to Maui. The accommodations were fantastic, and best of all, Tom was extraordinarily accommodating. We were able to drop off our luggage at 7AM (before driving to Hana) and he suggested we use his styrofoam cooler and to buy food/drinks for the journey... More

Tom has two small apartments built into his house, but with the foliage and the arrangement of the architecture, they have peace and privacy. Everything exceeded expectations, and it was both romantic without being frilly, as well as convenient. Plenty of space, and a big two-person tiled shower. Easy to find, off-street parking for our rental car, a short drive... More

This was our first B&B experience and we just loved it! We had a private entrance to a wonderful cottage with a newly remodeled bathroom, a kitchen, a bedroom area, a private lanai and garden!! Everything was very clean and bright. Tom and Akiko are wonderful hosts. We scuba dive so we are early morning risers, but that wasn't a... More
