This is a wonderful place, about a 5 minute drive from the nearest beach in Kihei (Kamaole III). The owners are wonderful hosts, the place is kept spotlessly clean, and the breakfasts are artfully prepared. Being in a residential neighborhood it's very quiet. Guests have access to a wonderful garden, deck chairs, and BBQ. My only reservation is that calling... More

We have just returned from a 2 week stay with Tom and Akko. Oh, and font want to forget Kellee too! We traveled with two other couple who stayed in VRBO condos. They paid double what we paid for the 2 week accommodations. They did have a fancier condo and there was a pool and outdoor grill station. We are... More

Tom is a nice guy, Kelli is a nice dog, we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Akiko, though. What can I say, the photos do not do justice to the place, it is much nicer. But then when you keep expectations low, people are pleasantly surprised when the reality exceeds expectations. All the nice touches or home have been... More

We were spending a week in Maui with family at a large resort and we were unable to secure lodging for the first night. Fortunately, this sweet B&B became available. Tom was very helpful in setting us up for the night as well as preparing a delicious breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed a good morning conversation. 1 bedroom with... More

We stayed at Tom's place for three nights, and really loved this lovely B&B. A spacious, clean, cute, blue room equipped with a full kitchen and a cozy lanai made our stay perfect. For complimentary breakfast, fresh bread, cereals, yogurts, delicious fruits, eggs and juice were served, and we could talk with other guests from Europe while having them. Tom... More

We stayed at Tom & Akiko's B & B for three nights, and it felt like we were staying with friends. They give you the perfect balance of information, friendliness and privacy. Our 'suite' was steps from the driveway so we didn't have to haul our luggage up or down stairs. They have thought of everything! Cold water bottles in... More

If you want some privacy in a perfect location, choose this place. It's a quaint b n b with just 2 rooms so you won't see a constant influx of people. In fact for 6 days we felt like it was our own place. The room was clean, lots of guide books and it's self catered although we didn't use... More

My husband grew up in the Islands, and we don't get back as often as we'd like. This time we managed a six day trip, but were going to have to telecommute the four days around the weekend. At Maui Homestay, we felt like we really were "working from home." They have high-speed internet, which enabled us to get a... More

We stayed 5 nights there and they were fabulous! It's a really nice place. Breakfast is delicious and Tom makes you feel like home. Everything was clean and it's pretty near to the beach. I definetely recommend this place for everyone!

We stayed at Maui Homestay for three nights and loved every minute. Tom and Akiko were very welcoming and made us feel truly at home. Our room was cool, comfortable, clean and spacious, more like a small apartment with bedroom, bathroom, lounge/kitchen area and a shady private lanai. Plenty of guidebooks to browse, wifi and beach kit to borrow -... More
