Comments: Kihei Akahi D614, 7/25 - 8/1/08 Aloha! What a wonderful condo - -the views are just amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay just as we did last year here in Kihei Akahi D614. Hopefully we will be back again next summer. Mahalo! more

Let's blow Myth #1. You don't get a free fresh flower lei when you get off the plane or anywhere else, you can buy them in a few places for about $8. We landed late at night and found our way to the car rental place. It was closed. Panic set in. Go behind the car rental building, find a... more

My wife and I were apprehensive about booking a condo without knowing the location. We had heard that some of the Maui beaches were very rocky and some were very organic smelling because of seaweed etc. The beach at Kihei Akahi is truely the best beach we saw. It has beautiful sand, no crowd, snorkeling, clear water, a nice restroom,... more

We are a mid-forties couple with no kids. We stayed 9 nights at Kihei Akahi on this trip. I should begin by saying that overall, this place was not absolutely awful, it just wasn't very nice. The several postive reviews here lead me to think that perhaps it can make a big difference who you rent your unit through. Ours... more

I was reluctant to book a condo as I read some ‘horror’ stories about some condos being dirty and with cockroaches. But as I had a very good price I decided to take the plunge. It has been my first condo rental and I did not regret it. I felt like at home, everything was clean and spacious. Much better... more

It is with a heavy heart that I write this email - as Kihei Akahi has always had a special spot in my heart. This was our 4th trip to Kihei Akahi - twice we went as a couple and last year and this year with our young son who is 7 yrs. We have been fortunate to have nice... more

We stayed in unit C 208 for 8 days in February. Best laocation close everywhere. Beach Kamaole 2 right across the street. Complex is very well kept. Pool area has 2big BBQs + tables + sink and fridge and bathrooms with showers. While there met lots of people form Vancouver and Calgary and many of them said that this is... more

We stayed here for 4 nights in early November. Our unit was on the 4th floor of the C Building, which had an awesome view of the ocean and sunsets. We booked directly through the unit owners and they were a pleasure to work with. They even called to check on us after we got settled. The unit had everything... more

I have stayed here with my family a number of times and I love it. There are great views (depending on what floor you are staying). I can walk down out of the complex just a very short way and get cinnamon buns for breakfast and some great ice cream for a treat. There is a lot of general stores... more

Unit C501 Stayed at the Kihei Akahi for 2 weeks in October 2008. I eventually booked it basing on the recommendation here at trip advisor. And, to cut the story short, was revarded with a great time. Unit C501 is an ocean view condo just high enough to have a streight view with no buildings in between. Building C is... more
