I personally think this hotel is much better than the reviews or photos led me to beleive. Beautiful tropical grounds, several pools, excellent restaurants, beautiful beach. Nice walkway on the beach that connects you with Four Seasons, Grand Wailea hotel and Wailea shopping center - so lots of restaurant and shopping options. Our room was huge, a suite. Decorating is... more

Just returned from a week at the Kea Lani and we just LOVED it. The service was amazing; from the housekeepers to the golf cart guys, everyone is both helpful and nice and oh, those villas! We had one right on the water and it was wondrous--were it not for that darn Hawaiin heat (being a Pacific Northwesterner, it was... more

Probably one of my favorites! It is great for adults and kids alike. With it's adult pool and poolside massage to kids camp and waterslide, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful weather. THey have complimentary introductory diving in the pool and from there you can go get your feet wet in the ocean. Th staff is... more

The rooms were spacious, clean and very well kept. Given a free up upgrade to semi ocean view, but was in a regular garden view and the view of the grounds was quite nice. Over sized bathrooms were great allowing room for more than one to use at the same time i.e. a shower and a tub, two pedistal sinks,... more

The Fairmont lives up to its star rating and name - this hotel stay was amazing. I've stayed in quite a few nice hotels and this tops the list. We booked during the first week of June and the island was relatively deserted. The first two days of the stay, we felt as if we had the pools to ourselves.... more

I'll admit that I'm a coffee addict, nothing disappoints me more than waking up and not having decent coffee on hand, I could find a substance that had the chemical composition of coffee but that was it. The Fairmont Kea Lani has forced me into withdraw, usually I'd compensate by finding comfort in a decent meal, but The Fairmont will... more

I ' ve read all the other reviews and I will simply add this: no it's not the Four Seasons, and the service or lack there of was frustrating and the pool bar/cafe, which is the only real place to eat lunch and have snacks while you're pool or beach-side is lacking in aesthetic and is overpriced. I've stayed at... more

My stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani was in room 660. This hotel features accommodations that are all 2-room suites or villas. My suite was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and spacious. The living area featured a comfortable sofa, well-lighted desk area, and wet bar with microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom and bath were thoughtfully laid out every possible amenity was provided.... more

We loved our time here, but it adds up quickly! Our suite was spacious and gave us ocean views, evening turndown service was appreciated, and the pools were fun and not too crowded. We and other guests were spotting humpback whales breaching, from the shore! The food prices were definitely high, but our dinner at Ko was delicious (rack of... more

First off, disregard the first review! This hotel is great! Nice lobby, beautiful beach, great scenic views and a clean overall environment. Adult pool and main pool are separated enough to prevent excessive noise. Food is a bit pricy but so is everything on the island due to its isolation. They offer a introduction to scuba course in the pool... more
