The Punahoa is quiet romantic gem overlooking the beach in South Kihei. We stayed again in unit 302 for 10 days in November. This is a one bedroom condo on the 3rd floor which is located in the south end of the building so you have more privacy and are not too close to the patio on the ground floor... More

We were in unit 304 for 11 nights in January. It is a studio apartment, which for us was big enough, plus that meant our bed was beside the balcony so we could listen to the waves at night. The unit was very well stocked- kitchen utensils, books, some cd's, and 2 beach chairs with an umbrella which was great... More

Our family of 5 adults stayed in unit 205. It was a great corner unit with awesome views from 2 sliding glass doors. The first lanai overlooked the ocean and the second side door overlooked the beach/ ocean. We enjoyed watching all the people surfing, paddle boarding and when windy kite surfing. My daughter and her finance slept on the... More

We stayed for 5 nights in unit 205 which is a nice two bedroom corner unit. The location just by the shore and next to fantastic beaches is perfect. The unit is in good condition and the lanai is very nice with fabulous view and amazing sunsets.

We stayed in unit 401, a lovely well maintained unit with in suite laundry and an updated kitchen. The suite included all necessities for cooking and eating, even a blender, which we used for smoothies for our kids. The unit is on the top floor, ocean facing, on our rooftop patio, we had a large area with table and chairs... More

We have been to Punahoa about 3 times now! The first time, the building seemed a bit dated, but the price was right. The last time we went, the building was in much better condition and the beds were great! The view is really nice, as you are on the beach side of the street overlooking the water. To your... More

My wife, myself and two teen daughters stayed 2 weeks this past June one week at the Marriott and one week at the Punahoa Beach Condo's in Kihei. While both properties were nice we actually preferred the Punahoa condo over the Marriott. Here are some of the reasons. One, location of the property. You are literally right on a bluff... More

Loved this condo! Spent all our time in the Lanai watching the waves, the sunsets, the surfers- never wanted to leave. Well supplied, immaculate, well run property.so convenient to restaurants, walk to beaches, for groceries etc. comfortable bed, quiet side street. No A/C but with windows open, always a lovely cross breeze,. But with the windows open the birds are... More

Location, location, location. Between Charley Young Beach and Cove Park, walk to paddle board rentals and decent restaurants, snorkel right in front of the building (although we didn't do that). Great views from a huge lanai (3 chairs and 2 lounge chairs for this unit). For location, this would get 5 stars, except for the wind. The wind was nice... More

We recently stayed here for 10 days in #303. The property, as a whole, is charming, conveniently located to dining, rentals, shopping, and some nightlife. You have access to Kamaole Beach I and Cove Park beach and Charley Young beach. You can swim and snorkel right off the apartment plus surfing is a 2-3 minute walk away. Views are fabulous... More
