affordable hotel with good accommodations, friendly service. Very close to the airport for convenience but not a great spot as far as the rest of the island. Don't drink in the lobby, the security guy will tell you it's not allowerd.

My reservation and with confirmation withHotels.com for kai Nani in Kihei were cancelled without notice, this was about 8:30 and only accessible by phone, called the resident manager they couldn't help cause it was condominiums and the renters have a hotel.com that handles the booking my fiancé calls hotel.com and they were rude and told us it was cancelled even... Pros: Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, very close to OGG aiport, close to malls/food, close to bus stop (inside Queen K mall), beach behind hotel, pool, airport shuttle Cons: Lots of parking but surcharge, charge for phone use, microwave located inside coin laundry area Overall, great basic hotel close to the airport and shopping. Just don't compare this to any... More

To begin with, NO adequate parking for handicap. Upon check-in, I was issued a room, and then requested a second room with handicap access. I was charged full price for the first room. This hotel is close to the airport and cruise ship, but for the price a cardboard box might be more appropriate

It is located in the middle of everything, but near no specific arraraction or tourist spot. Never the less it is fast to get anyplace from there, and it is right next to the malls, supermarkets, etc. They should do something with corridor decoration, but the bay view makes up for it. (and the playstation III in the rooms is... More

It is an older hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and nice. This is our second time to stay here as a one night stop over until we can get into our hotel in Kahana. We sat outside this morning on the lani - it was peaceful and nice. We would stay here again.

The hotel is ok.. it's really a pity that it's not taken care of in decoration. The hotel needs to be cleaned up, BUT the rooms are excellent, neat, clean and with safe, and THAT is very important. I mean, if you're just to stay the night and hang out all day, it's fine! It's near of malls and airport... More

The Maui Beach Hotel worked very well for us. The room was ready when we arrived, staff was friendly and we were on our way to the room very quickly. The room was pretty standard, but was comfortable for a couple nights and seemed like it was kept fairly clean. The hotel was very easy to find and parking was... More

This hotel is not in the middle of the resort scene, but in the regular living portion of Kahilui on Maui. Lots of shopping and restaurants in walking distance, 2.5 miles from the airport. Room was clean and functional but very small, no coffee maker. While there is a pool, it was not well publicized and is attached to the... More

Nice place to stay; central location; close to airport and shopping. Across the street from Queen Kaahumanu Mall (high end shopping and affordable eating); Gas stations are across the street. Lodgings are average but nice; not a five star, but will accommodate families and island hoppers. Airport shuttle service, Mid size refrigerators, in room safe, pool, air conditioner, firm beds,...
