I stayed here with my sister for one night. The reason was that my flight was arriving in Kahului very late and it was one of the closest hotels to the airport offering budget accommodations. Overall, it was as another reviewer stated earlier, "You get what you pay for." Check-in was quick and efficient. Because I booked through the website,... more

This hotel was a very big dissapointment. The FD was very rude and "PREOCCUPIED" doing nothing. No customer service at all. The elevator smelt like a dumpster was near by and the rooms were very poor. We asked about a late-check out as our flight was not til late in the evening and with out hesitation the agent said "One-Nights... more

This hotel would probably be fine if you have a car. You have to ride a bus into Lahaina, which is rather inconvenient. There are two malls witinin walking distance, and several fine restaurants. more

This is an old hotel with very small but clean rooms. It is not fancy, and if you are not picky, it's fine for a night. It was quiet and the beds/linens were fine. I think one of the travel books stated it best...something like "fine for a night, but you probably don't want to spend your vacation here." more

My husband and I stayed 10 nights and found the hotel to be equivalent to most three star hotels we've stayed at. I saw no worn or shabby areas and there were no bad smells or dirty areas. We had almost cancelled reading the negative reviews but found them to be untrue. We used the reastaurant and bar and found... more

We didn't enjoy our stay at Maui Beach hotel; first we requested the lobby for a *calm* room. When arriving to the room, it was very noisy due to the road quite close and the poor sound insulation. So we changed for a room at $150. This one was acceptable for the noise. However it was a very simple room... more

~Despite our late arrival, our room was not ready for us. ~When we were eventually given a room, we were somewhat surprised to discover that the bathroom had no door on it. Not only was there no door, but the toilet was fully visible from the outside door to the room. We didn't realize what a inconvenience this would be... more

We spent our first night at the Maui Beach Hotel because it was close to the airport (we arrived that day) and it was a good jumping-off spot for the Hana Highway. The staff was friendly enough (actually, most of the staff was REALLY chatty and friendly) and the common areas are open, airy, and quite pleasant. However, our room... more

Arriving in the early evening in Maui, as most planes do, we wanted a place to stay near the airport. We were pleasantly surprised by the Seaside. It was reasonable (for Maui standards in February, $185), it was clean, it was comfortable. Folks at the front desk are a bit stingy with a smile at first, but work them a... more
