The location was centrally located and the staff was great. The staff was very helpful and courtesy. The shuttle service was great! The rooms were clean and the property was maintained very nicely. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I get it. Maui is expensive. But a hotel charging $140 should still have some basic standards. I've stayed at Motel 6 hotels that were nicer than this one. There were holes in the walls, and the entire property looks run down and dirty.

This was a centrally located, clean hotel and the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. I felt safe the entire time I was there and enjoyed the convenience of the hotel shuttle. Breakfast was very good every day. The staff truly lived the Aloha spirit.

Lodging on Maui is expensive; even in the not-so-touristy town of Kahului. We decided on the cheapest option we could get, the Maui Beach Hotel. I can honestly say I didn’t love the hotel, but I also can’t say that I disliked it. It was just…okay. The room is adequate and clean. A.C., flat screen, desk, bed, mini fridge, the... More

We stayed at the Maui Beach 3 nights. Very clean & affordable. The people that work there were kind and showed the aloha spirit. My only complaint is the pool needs to stay open longer! Mahalo Maui Beach.

We decided to stay the night by the airport since we were getting in after 10pm. It was cheap and cleanish but the beds are really terrible and so are the pillows. Only a stopover hotel, nothing else.

I just returned from a trip from Maui with my son's middle school. We stayed at this hotel for a couple days. The hallways had a bad smell and our room had ants and bugs. The AC was just terribly loud which made it hard to sleep and clearly was an older model which sounded the same no matter what... More

We stayed the first part of our trip at the Hyatt on Kaanapali and the last few days at the Maui Beach Hotel. We definately liked the Maui Beach hotel better!!! Air conditioning worked....the staff were truly wonderful.....just an overall better experience! Yes the hotel is "older", but the people working there make ALL the difference. :)

This is an old hotel as shown by the in-wall AC, which was hard to control. We had a standard 2 BR on the second floor. It was about 250 SF, but seemed smaller because of the placement of the bathroom, which was small, and the closet area. The building, lobby, and room furniture looked plain and old. The beds... More

Good value for Maui, pleasant staff but dated. Really how much time do you spend in your room?? you are in Maui for goodness sake. Hotel is located between the Sheraton & Weston so you are in good company. Great walking path along front of hotel strip, beach is great but everything costs in Maui.
