This 3-story small hotel is located 15-min drive from the Kahului airport and very close to the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Mall and the Kahului harbor. The location is also perfect if you have no car and have to rely on Maui bus, which stops at the Mall. The personnel is very friendly and attentive to your requests. Very quiet and... more

After being ripped off in Honolulu by Castle Sky Maile, I expected the Maui Seaside Hotel to be a dumpster. I was pleasantly surprised. For $66 a night I got a nice double bed room which was clean and tidy. The only problem being the AC in the room doesn't seem to cool as much maybe because the room is... more

While the hotel location was great for a quick ride to the airport, this hotel is not a multiple night stay or family friendly. I traveled with my husband and 2 daughters (ages 15 and 9). The beds were small and uncomfortable. The bathroom - very basic! Would not stay here again. more

We have stayed at this hotel previously and have always had great stays and experienced the very friendly and wonderful staff there. On this particular visit we had our toothpaste confiscated by TSA due to the tube size being too big, our fault. It was 10:30pm when we pulled up to Longs Drugs only to see a closed sign on... more

Never again will I stay at this hotel. My deluxe room was shabby and moldy smelling. I checked in late and checked out early. Even though my husband agreed with me about the condition of our room, he still left a tip. What a waste of money. more

My husband and I were flying to Kona and had to stop in Maui for the night. We needed an inexpensive hotel close to OGG airport. This was perfect. Only 2 miles from the airport, a $12 taxi ride, and $90/night. The staff was very friendly but the hotel wasn't that nice. You get what you pay for. It's like... more

We had a 9 o'clock pm flight so we got a room at the Maui Seaside to nap, hang out and freshen up before our flight. The staff is friendly. The hotel is Hawaiian owned which made me feel good. The room was a little dated in its appearance. They had just changed from keys to key cards the day... more

My friends and I went to Maui for a Church Occasion during the weekend. We were very pleased with the Aloha Spirit that was with the agents upon check in. Rooms are clean. Very quiet . Deluxe rooms with 3beds is good enough for families with children . Microwave and Refrigerator. The location is very convenient for everything. Shopping, Rental... more

Would like to comment on the gracious and friendly gals at the check -in counter. This little hotel is a gem, located in Kahului, Maui, a great starting point for visiting Maui! Maui Seaside has a wonderful, warm local ambience. The rooms are clean, the grounds are lovely, and the 'Coconut Grill' serves delicious meals, especially the Friday Prime Rib... more
