We stayed with our children for one quick night after driving the Road to Hana. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It is located just out of Hana which made it nice as we started our next day driving to the Seven Sacred Pools and the gravesite of Charles Lindbergh. We would definitely stay here again. It was peaceful and... More

Hale Ulu Lulu is such a beautiful little cottage! It was super clean, gorgeously decorated, and had a perfect view of the ocean. We stayed here two nights, but I would have liked to have had another day in Hana. It was so quiet and peaceful. I was worried at first about finding the cottage since it doesn't show up... More

Hale Ulu Lulu cottage is very well appointed, so thoughtfully prepared by Chris and Leokane. We had driven that day from Haleakala down the back way into Hana; included a swim at Ohe'o Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools). We arrived at the cottage, and were very pleased at the romantic beauty of the home and setting. Chris and Leokane have thought... More

Loved this amazing cottage! Fantastic location, right off the road, but set back in a beautiful garden, private and still an ocean view. It was so convenient for dinner in Hana and for Hamoa beach (the most beautiful beach in Maui!). I loved the decor—pure Hawaiian, with a simple but artful sensibility. We will try to stay longer on our... More

We booked this accommodation with no hesitation after reading the reviews.. they are spot on! Chris always replied to our inquiry promptly. The place is clean, tidy, modern yet classic ... home away from home after a nice drive from Kahului It took us 2 hours to get our car rental as the queue was out the door so we... More

Sadly, we only had one night in this incredible escape in the rain forest of East Maui. The layout of Hale Manu is terrific and open. It is enveloped by all manner of tropical trees, plants and flowers, and is serene, serene, serene. We simply sat in the lush grass in the evening and drank a bottle of wine. Ahhhh!... More

There are hardly enough words to say how simply beautiful this home and our time in Hana was. This area is the Hawaii of my dreams full of tropical plants, fruits, waterfalls, and picturesque ocean views. The owners of the guest houses of Malanai have thought of every detail to make your stay elegant and comfortable. We had an amazing... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom house June 12-15. It was fantastic! The owner responded to my email and questions very quickly. The whole rental process was very smooth. The house was great. A great deck with its own gas grill. A big open living room, dining and kitchen area. 2 decent sized bedrooms and a bath. Everything was clean... More

We had the opportunity to stay two nights in Hana during our trip to Maui. We had done our research before leaving on our trip and contacted Chris and Jacques and booked our stay at the Hale Manu in Hana. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly face, welcoming music, fresh fruit and amazing landscaping. The home was... More
