Stayed a few nights at Hana Kai, and wasn't terribly blown away. Unit was very pretty (we were in Unit 1, which is beachfront and on the corner), but was kind of grimy. I know most condos near the beach get a little sticky, but this was a bit worse. Our feet turned black after walking around barefoot for a... more

The condo (which is owned and rented separately from the front desk, by the owners) is in a great location in Hana with a beautiful view of Hana Bay. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean each night. We BBQ'd every night using the "communal" BBQ, although we were the only ones we saw using it during our... more

We got stuck staying at this over-priced shack on our beautiful trip to Hana. Our money would have been better spent staying at the Hana Resort, as this was not much less. But after a long drive we just wanted to take a warm shower and we discovered that the shower was dirty after we arrived and unpacked the bags.... more

My fiancé and I stayed in Unit #2 and loved every minute of it. What makes this unit spectacular is definitely the ocean front view. This is as close to the ocean as you can get and because it is the closest to the water of all units you feel like it is just for you! Because the beach is... more

Accommodation options in Hana are somewhat limited but this is not the best of the lot. The view is indeed fantastic, but it is at other places as well. If you are going to stay here, there are two important bits of information that you need: 1) Note that this is _not_ a resort in the literal sense, though it... more

We needed a place to stay in Hana for one night so we could thoroughly enjoy our trip. We started late in the day so we didn't get into Hana until about 6:30. We stayed in Room 102 which is a studio. The room was plenty large enough that we could have stayed in it a week if we wanted.... more

We stayed in unit 206 for 5 nights. I was worried before I came that I would run out of things to do in Hana for 4 days. But it was just perfect - very relaxing. We had to make our own beds, but I liked that feature because I didn't have to worry about housekeeping coming in and moving... more

Hana Kai 206 is loaded with artistic touches that bring the tropical beauty of Hana inside. We were greeted by a gorgeous flower arrangement on the kitchen counter containing perfect specimens of every gorgeous flower we had photographed on the road trip up. Showering after the long drive was very refreshing. The luxurious bath features a unique adjustable double shower... more

I had to write and simply say how helpful the staff is as this resort. I was staying at a house in Hana, and got lost twice. Even though I was not their guest, when I asked for help, Miya went the extra mile on two different occasions to make sure I found my destination. Thanks Miya! Robert Fisher Salt... more

We stayed in Hana Kai 206 a few weeks ago, and it has taken this long to get back to the real world. We stayed in Hana for our 30th anniversary, it was our last stop on the islands, we couldn't have picked a better spot to stay. The condo is all it's cracked up to be and more. Hana... more
