I spent Christmas 2014 here at room 106 to split the Road to Hana into 2 days and had one of the most peaceful sleep I had in years, with the sound of the wind and waves crashing into Hana Bay. Tastefully decorated room and clean bedsheets, ocean views from the lanai, and even their own line of refreshing coconut-based... More

we had a lovely two nights in hana at this charming little hotel - we were lucky to have a room right on the water and the big windows make you feel that the beach is all around you. It was great to stay a couple of days and get to know this side of the island, and to be... More

i have to admit i was a little bit skeptical after reviewing their outdated website and cheap prices, but what a great decision we made staying at the Hana Kai Condos. Its not on a swimmable beach, but nothing is in hana, you have to hike down to all the beautiful beaches, but its as close to the waves as... More

We only got to stay at the Hana Kai Maui for one night, but what a beautiful night it was. We loved the layout of the apartment, with big open doorways that let the sea breeze blow through the entire place. We could even see a tinny bit of the ocean from our balcony. The apartment had everything we needed... More

Pros: Large and comfortable with fully-stocked kitchens (helpful because of limited dining options in Hana), amazing service, and a great location. Cons: No air conditioning (seems standard for Hana), though the ocean breeze was more than enough to cool the room in December.

This place snuggles against a bay on the ocean, with beautiful waves, a black rock beach and gorgeous vistas from every window. The people were as friendly as you'll ever find and the rooms (we had three) were phenomenal. Kitchens were completely equipped and we easily made meals for ten people. Every time I looked out the window, I regretted... More

We stayed for two nights in unit 1, which is in the ocean front building. Bedroom – Very comfy king size bed with 5 pillows. Decent amount of hanging and drawer storage. We had a window looking right out at the ocean. Shower – Large with very good water pressure. They offer free samples of coconut shampoo, conditioner and body... More

We stayed 3 nights in unit #5 in December. I notice that many people only stay for one night. I highly recommend staying at least 2 or 3 nights and I recommend the lower units #1-5 down closest to the beach. We loved every minute of our stay! It was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. We spent an entire day at... More

Spent one night in Unit 3 during a drive around the Island. Really enjoyed the unit, which is completely equipped, tastefully furnished, and attractively lighted. Views of Hana Bay are immediate and top-notch. One could hardly live nearer a beach. We ordered breakfasts in advance and were glad we did. In hindsight, I wish we had booked a longer stay,... More

This is the most beautiful resort in Hana... our studio was on the ocean, very clean and comfortable. The sunrise and sunsets were breath taking. Hearing the sounds of the ocean just a short distance from the lanai was so relaxing and comforting. Full kitchen made our dining first class. I would definitely go back and stay here again.
