Stayed here one night on our Road to Hana trip. Beautiful oceanfront room. Very enjoyable stay. Didn't see any bugs, as were previously reported. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the room and location.

A lovely quiet hideout by the beach - perfect for an overnight whilst in Hana, Maui. Comes with fully equipped kitchenette for meal preparation. Also located on the East side of Maui, so waking up to sunrise is such a blessing. Makes perfect sense to stay at least one night in Hana so as to fully enjoy the sights of... More

The hotel is so tranquil. On a quiet bay in Hana. A beautiful sunrise. Try to get in the lower building. We slept with the windows open and the ocean lulled us to sleep. The front desk person was incredibly helpful. Hana is a little difficult because everything shuts down by 7p and there aren't many places to eat so... More

We stayed 3 days in unit #4 the top corner unit over looking the beautiful black sand beach. Great place for watching the sunrise and as a base camp for seeing Red Sand Beach, Pipi Wai Trail, etc. The pro's-- perfect location in Hana. The view was amazing!. The gocery store, general store, and several restaurants near by. You can... More

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June. If you are looking for high end luxury and lots of resort amenities you are in the wrong place. The grounds are beautiful and the view from our unit was better than anticipated. It wasn't overly breezy the days we were there but the fan in the bedroom made sleeping... More

The road to Hana isi not for everybody, slow but stunning. Hana is specially quiet, there are no crowds. specially after 6, and everything is closed by 9pm. The hotel office closes at 8pm. But we had a quiet sleep, and the wind and the ocean waves are a good noise to have for the night. The Black Sand Beach,... More

Nice place to stay if you are going to take the Road to Hana, black sand beach a short walk away, beautiful views, relaxing rooms. there is no TV or Cable, this is just a place to relax and free your mind.

We were lucky enough to get the last room for 2 nights. Room #5 would be $700 on south side of Maui. We would not have booked #5 because we did not need 2 bedrooms. I am so happy it was the only room. the views - the beautiful condo is as good as it gets. The property was a... More

Roaches in the bathroom and kitchen and all kinds of bugs everywhere! Overpriced roach motel with no AC. Very hot, cannot sleep. Must leave all windows open to stay cool. Bed was very uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin. Beware of quiet hours and laundry hours! Overall, pictures look nice but it's dirty dirty dirty and I repeat, no air conditioning.... More

It is our goal to have each guest depart renewed and refreshed and happy with their stay and we regret that we fell short of that goal for this particular guest. I do want to point out that the insects in the room were not cockroaches. This is a bug that is associated with coconut trees. Occasionally they migrate and... More

No disappointments here. We had a top floor room, so weren't bothered by any footsteps overhead, if that really is a problem. Staff excellent, helpful and personal. Room and amenities well thought out and considerate, attractive furnishings. Toilet and shower separate from sink area, convenient. Great to have coffee, tea, sugar right in the kitchen, along with plastic wrap, tin... More
