We only spent one night and wished we had spent more. Beautiful hotel with helpful staff, great service. Free yoga, spectacular choice of beaches, classy cottages, and more. Genuinely one of the best hotels at which we have ever stayed.

We were in Hawaii for 15 days in July and our three nights in Hana stand out in our hearts and memories. To us, Travaasa = peace, quiet, getting away, rejuvenation, relaxation. We loved our Sea Ranch cottage and didn't miss the AC. We loved hearing the sounds of the ocean from our room. We LOVED the adult only pool/hot... More

Stunning location - stayed in one of the ocean cottages - spacious though a tad tired - the main pool is the best bit of the hotel - but there's no air conditioning and night times the heat was oppressive. Fantastic little gallery here - and important - fly here - do not drive there and back it's hard work... More

We only spent one night at Travaasa hana, and regret not making it more. I loved everything from the tip-free service, the yoga classes, water aerobics and the small golf course (all free to use). The highlight was Hawaian people coming into the bar to have a great time and involve everyone in their pride in the beautiful island they... More

We wanted a little getaway during our trip in March 13, this was worth the Hana highway drive. I think they will pick you up at the helipad though. Room was very nice. Quiet peaceful and the view was spectacular. Pool area was like a sculpted fairway up to the edge. The spa facilities are good, clean and services are... More

We stayed here for one night after doing the Road to Hana. The Travaasa Hotel was wonderful! It was quiet, relaxing, romantic, clean...just perfect! They gave us juice, leis, and damp washclothes when we arrived, and our room was stocked with banana bread, champagne (it was our honeymoon), and water bottles. My husband loved that they had whole coffee beans... More

Aloha Katie O, Congratulations on your recent marriage and mahalo (thank you) for sharing your experiences from Travaasa Hana with us. Yes, Hana is such a magical place for such a special occasion and one day is definitely not enough to absorb all that Hana has to offer. I have shared your comments with our team and it is our... Let's start from the very beginning: we chose this hotel because we wanted to avoid a big and chaotic chain hotel to enjoy at its fullest our honeymoon trip. As Travaasa belongs to the Preferred Boutique program that we extensively used before, we were so looking forward for the great and lovely tailor made service that a boutique hotel can... More

Aloha maclover_it, First of all, congratulations on your recent marriage! Hana and Travaasa Hana is a very magical place to celebrate this special occasion and unfortunately, this was not the case for you. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences with us, even though it was not as expected. My sincere apologies for everything that has happened,... More

We rode our bikes to Hana from town and treated ourselves with an overnight stay at Travaasa. We were not disappointed. The Sea Ranch Cottage was spacious and had that open-air island quality. Bathroom was large with separate tub & walk-in shower. Amenities were great -- especially the local bars of soap. This is the first time I've had whole-bean... More

Aloha makawaomaid, Congratulations on your recent bike ride to Hana and Travaasa Hana! I drive that road quite often and can only imagine doing it by bike. The road to Hana is beautiful and one of a kind and by bike, I am sure you see it in a different light. Yes, the Sea Ranch Cottages are very popular, relaxing,... More

My wife and I stayed there a couple of weeks ago for three nights, and it was truly a magical place. First, we couldn't imagine not staying in Hana after that very long (yet beautiful drive). It certainly helped break it up and you could take extra time if you wanted to knowing you didn't have to turn around afterwards.... More

Aloha Mark K, Congratulations! You have survived the road to Hana. Your visit would not be complete without experiencing that drive, although the plane ride is very scenic too. Definitely, one day isn’t enough to enjoy your stay with us – too much to do. Not having a/c, internet and television allows you to tune in to each other and... More

We only stayed a night but wish we had built in at least another day to take greater advantage of all they offer. Early morning yoga and core classes were great. They have a Wellness area where guests need to be 16 or older. The pool and amenities seemed nicer than the ones on the 'main campus'. In reading the... More
