what a beautiful place to stay. The location is perfect. It is a short walk to Hana Bay, and a mile from The Hasagawa general store. You can see and hear the ocean from the lanai! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing couple of days in magical Hana.

We stayed at Hale Kukuna II in October 2014 for two nights. Great accommodation. We had tried to book the 1 bedroom, but it was already booked so the owner gladly offered to lock the second bedroom and gave us the 2 bedroom for the 1 bedroom price. The house is situated on a large pond with a peekabo view... More

We recommend staying down in Hāna for at least a night or two. You can take your time driving here, then rest up and hit the Black and Red Sand beaches plus the Seven Sacred Pools, etc. at your pace. When we booked a stay at the Kula Lodge, we asked for their recommendation for Hāna and they pointed us... More

We spent June 1-3 in Hale Kukuna I. The house was very clean, well equipped, and sufficient for two nights. Kitchen was especially well equipped although we did not need to cook for our short stay. Not being familiar with other rentals in the area, I'd suspect this property compares well. The pros: -- Good size and nice location. --... More

Three of us stayed here at the end of March. The space and furnishings were of the standard you would have in your own home, a kitchen/dining area and lounge with everything you could possibly need, spotlessly clean and all windows and doors with insect screens so you can get a breeze through - much better than air conditioning. From... More

We spent 2 nights in Hale Kukuna I in March. The condo is beautifully furnished; I wish my kitchen and bathroom were as lovely. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped. We would have liked to have more closet space. The location was good and we could see the ocean from the condo; in fact, I watched the daybreak through the palms.... More

We stayed 1 night here and it was perfect..the house is very well kept and updated...it was easy to find and was close enough yet far enough away from everything..we drove down the street to the elementary school and parked there...followed the path across the field and you can go left and down to the beach or stay on the... On our final of four nights in Hana, my wife and I stayed at the Hale Kukuna I. This is the ground floor of a two floor unit. Hale Kukuna II is upstairs. Our unit had a full gourmet kitchen, a dining room, living room, bedroom and full bath. It had beautiful ceramic tiles and hardwood floors. Everything is in... More

Very happy with our stay here in the downstairs unit (I). A pleasant view--the other condos seemed to blend into the landscape. nice patio and outdoor jaccuzi, and a unique step-in shower and large comfy bed. Kitchen/dining/living area is a single room and were well-appointed. Nice place.

Paradise!!! The bed was luxurious with nice linens and comfy pillows. The whole place was clean and well equipped for cooking which we did after picking up a few items for dinner and breakfast at the nearby general store. The lani (patio) had a great Jacuzzi tub where you fill it with clean hot water each use, love that, with... More
