Very friendly owners, and fantastic location on a flower farm. Guests are allowed to pick tropical fruit from the orchard, and our room came with a bowl of fresh mango, banana and pineapple, as well as fresh cut flowers. Very quiet (excepting sounds of tropical birds in the morning) and beautiful site, but not far from Hana activities. Hana was... more

We thought this was a great choice. Three of us ladies (mother/daughter/aunt) stayed here for 2 nights, which is a REALLY good idea in our minds after the crazy drive to Hana. It was spacious, clean, and we loved the private hot tub and gas grill on the deck. The kitchen is not perfect (older worn cabinets, older formica countertops,... more

Why tripadvisor lists these ( AND OTHERS ) cottages at $68 per night is beyond me. We just stayed here and paid a little over $200 per night. We have stayed at three other "cottage" type places in Hana. Just like this one, they were OK for the most part. Being in Hana it is kind of hard to complain.... more

We arrived at the cottage with excitement since I saw the cottage on TripAdvisor. The first time we have to go to the owner’s cottage to pay full for 3 days. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. We were so excited that the cottage was the same exactly in the hotel website. but when I sat down on the... more

This is our 2nd time at the lovely property of Ms. Rebecca Buckley. She has two guest cottages on her tropical flower farm. Last visit we stayed at the smaller Hana Cabana. This trip we spent two nights at the Tradewinds Cottage. This has 2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. So nice! Fully equipped kitchen that looks out onto some... more

For those of us who live in big cities and are not used to being up close and personal with nature this is not the cottage for us. My wife and I were booked for two nights, and left after the first night due to the numerous bugs and gekkos that wandered into the cottage. Most of the bugs and... more

My husband and I stayed at the Maui Tradewinds cottage for 5 nights during our honeymoon. I do not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy nature, escape city and busy tourist areas and relax in a private jacuzzi. The pictures on their sites are an exact representation of what you'll find upon arrival. There were... more

I was worried about us driving the road to Hana after a long flight to Hawaii, but was thoroughly elated to arrive at the Tradewinds Cottage. The house was very quaint and had plenty of room for a couple. We ate breakfast and dinner in the dining room with the windows open so we could enjoy the nature sounds, bought... more

We stayed 2 nights in the Cottage, since the Cabana we orginally booked was being worked on. Rebecca the owner was friendly and gave us some helpful brochures and information when we arrived. The setting is private, beautiful and serene. A stroll through the grounds is very enjoyable with lots of flowers in view. If you are upset by the... more

We spent two nights at the Hana Cabana last week. It was really lovely and relaxing. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of five. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings and evenings. Yes, there were geckos and some ants. The geckos were kind of cute and the ants were... more
