For those of us who live in big cities and are not used to being up close and personal with nature this is not the cottage for us. My wife and I were booked for two nights, and left after the first night due to the numerous bugs and gekkos that wandered into the cottage. Most of the bugs and... more

My husband and I stayed at the Maui Tradewinds cottage for 5 nights during our honeymoon. I do not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy nature, escape city and busy tourist areas and relax in a private jacuzzi. The pictures on their sites are an exact representation of what you'll find upon arrival. There were... more

I was worried about us driving the road to Hana after a long flight to Hawaii, but was thoroughly elated to arrive at the Tradewinds Cottage. The house was very quaint and had plenty of room for a couple. We ate breakfast and dinner in the dining room with the windows open so we could enjoy the nature sounds, bought... more

We stayed 2 nights in the Cottage, since the Cabana we orginally booked was being worked on. Rebecca the owner was friendly and gave us some helpful brochures and information when we arrived. The setting is private, beautiful and serene. A stroll through the grounds is very enjoyable with lots of flowers in view. If you are upset by the... more

We spent two nights at the Hana Cabana last week. It was really lovely and relaxing. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of five. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings and evenings. Yes, there were geckos and some ants. The geckos were kind of cute and the ants were... more

We spent three relaxing nights here and loved the place. If we ever decide to brave the Hana Highway ever again, we'd stay at the Hana Cabana again. The cottage was clean, quiet and comfortable. We're not great lovers of hot tubs but we sure enjoyed the extreme privacy of the cabana, soaking in the hot water and watching it... more

We stayed here on our honeymoon for one night while doing the drive to and past Hana. It was supposed to be a nice night spent on a tropical flower farm, maybe relax in the hot tub under the stars... No. It was the furthest thing from relaxing actually. There were geckos all over the place in the cabana. Now... more

We stayed in Hana Cabana for 2 nights. The place is very nice. It is located in the middle of the big farm and has an ocean view. The cabana is very clean and has full kitchen, grill and spa. Spa/hot tub is very nice and we used it everyday. Since the place is in the middle of the jungle... more

My hubby and I just got back from a 2 week+ trip to Hawaii. We traveled to Hana while on Maui and we stayed at the Hana Cabana at the Tradewinds Cottages. We had a lovely stay. Our cottage was very homey and nice. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a full kitchen, although we never used it,... more

This was a highlight of our vacation. We stayed most of our trip in Lahaina, but the 2nd and 3rd full day of the trip (our anniversary) we had made plans to stay at the Hana Cabana. We took our time driving to Hana, and found this luscious cottage smack dab in the middle of a tropical paradise. The host,... more
