Reserved the Bamboo Suite based on Trip Adviser ratings, we were very pleased with our choice, we stayed for 4 nights. The Bamboo Suite is really more like a cottage, which had everything you could possibly need. It has a kitchenette, equipped with a small ridge (butter, cream cheese, juice, milk, cream), toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, side drawer with... More

I was skeptical about the high ratings on TripAdvisor for Haiku Cannery Inn. But after five nights there in late January, I agree with nearly all the previous reviewers. This place deserves a 5. We reached the Inn by driving up the road from Haiku village, where we saw an unassuming sign by the side of the road. We drove... More

This is a lovely place to stay. If you are looking for quality, quiet and something off the main road we highly recommend it. The property is the old pineapple cannery's managers house that the owner purchased around 40 years ago to raise her family there. The owner, Bennie, kids are grown and gone and as a new retiree she's... More

We didn't know what to expect before staying at the Haiku Cannery Inn. We were coming from Kihei for 5 days and 2 days in Lanai. Even though Kihei was a little disappointing for us, we still enjoyed the amazing weather. As soon as we arrived at the Inn, we relaxed instantly. We personally preferred that side of Maui rather... We stayed at the Haiku Cannery Inn for 7 nights and would have stayed longer if time permitted. Our room was large, exceptionally clean, bright and airy. The owner Benni, who has lived on the island many years, was happy to help us plan our days and give us suggestions on where to dine. She also had a delicious breakfast... More

Had to cancel at the last minute due to medical emergency. Owner offered assistance and a full refund. Very gracious people. More

My wife and I stayed in the Bamboo Suite, a separate little house adjacent to the main house. It reminded us of our time in the Australian Outback in an eco resort. The mynah birds nest in one of the trees adjacent to the Suite and make the most delightful noise at dusk and dawn, but mercifully are quiet during... More

We were only able to stay one night (3 night minimum) and Benni was gracious enough to make it work for us. Very clean and well kept up. The photos on the website are exactly as it appears. I made an off comment to Benni that my husband likes whole wheat bagels in the morning and she made sure to... More

We stayed in the cottage on site which is nicely tucked away from the main house so there is a feeling of peace and privacy. Great to have so many facilities to use, full kitchen, washer/dryer. Collecting fruits and avocados to eat for our picnic was such a generous bonus. Nice and clean. My only complaint and it seems minor... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week. We absolutely adored this place. Had great bfasts out on the back deck overlooking the ocean, benni was the consumate hostess and the place is filled with so much history! Ask her about it, so interesting. We stayed in the Malia room, it was perfect, clean, and ideal. Location is great for... More
