Last year we loved the Meadows Cottage but did not have as long to stay this time so opted for the Bamboo Suite. Loved the Haiku Cannery every bit as much. It is a small suite with fantastic breezes on one side of the great house (which you have access to for PC and sitting if you want) and Benny... More

Haiku is a wonderful, tucked away town on the beautiful green, lush side of Maui. The Haiku Cannery Inn was such a find. It's peaceful, quiet, and such a nice change from the busy, beach-side commercial scene. Thank you, Benni, for such a lovely stay. We hope to be back soon!

My husband and I stayed in one of the guest rooms inside the main house, and we love it! The house is amazing, and breakfast was serve-yourself when you wake up, very relaxed.....just how we liked it. The owner, Benni, is a Hawaiian native and gives great advice on places to eat and things to see. The price was also... More

The Haiku Cannery Inn is a beautifully restored pineapple cannery manager's home situated in a lush Hawaiian rain garden of red ginger and bamboo. The main house has wonderful architectural details and is the most beautiful manager's house I have ever been in. It is also filled with lovely antiques. The owner, who has lived in this house since the... More

We enjoyed the cottage where we stayed for 5 days. It was perfectly equiped, spacious and very light. The property has a nice garden and is very quiet. You can easily find some shops at 5 minutes drive. Benni and her family were very welcoming. A big thank you to them !! You can choose this place without any hesitation,... More

Reserved the Bamboo Suite based on Trip Adviser ratings, we were very pleased with our choice, we stayed for 4 nights. The Bamboo Suite is really more like a cottage, which had everything you could possibly need. It has a kitchenette, equipped with a small ridge (butter, cream cheese, juice, milk, cream), toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, side drawer with... More

I was skeptical about the high ratings on TripAdvisor for Haiku Cannery Inn. But after five nights there in late January, I agree with nearly all the previous reviewers. This place deserves a 5. We reached the Inn by driving up the road from Haiku village, where we saw an unassuming sign by the side of the road. We drove... More

This is a lovely place to stay. If you are looking for quality, quiet and something off the main road we highly recommend it. The property is the old pineapple cannery's managers house that the owner purchased around 40 years ago to raise her family there. The owner, Bennie, kids are grown and gone and as a new retiree she's... More

We didn't know what to expect before staying at the Haiku Cannery Inn. We were coming from Kihei for 5 days and 2 days in Lanai. Even though Kihei was a little disappointing for us, we still enjoyed the amazing weather. As soon as we arrived at the Inn, we relaxed instantly. We personally preferred that side of Maui rather... We stayed at the Haiku Cannery Inn for 7 nights and would have stayed longer if time permitted. Our room was large, exceptionally clean, bright and airy. The owner Benni, who has lived on the island many years, was happy to help us plan our days and give us suggestions on where to dine. She also had a delicious breakfast... More
