My wife and I recently spent 8 blissful days at the Maui Tradewinds. We were blown away by the care and thought that Bev and David have put into their place, and loved every second of our visit. Can't wait to return, and couldn't recommend the Tradewinds more strongly. (Note, I've given them top ratings for Swimming Pool because we... More

Fellow travelers, My daughter and I just returned to the mainland after a short 3 night stay at the Tradewinds suite. Oh my goodness! It was just a piece of heaven on earth! What all the others are saying about the cleanliness and well-stocked lodging is absolutely true. The location is perfect as a launching pad for any adventure you... More

My wife and I stayed with Bev and David for 5 days, and we couldn't have been happier. We stayed in the Starwind Cottage, and it was like having our own home on Maui. It was an excellant jumping off point to do just about everything on the Island, and then return at the end of the day to a... More

We went to Maui a year ago for our last trip to Hawaii. We loved Maui Tradewinds so much that we booked another week soon after we came home. Bev and Dave are great hosts and the lodging is immaculate. Come for a visit and I'm sure you will go again.

My wife and I finished a 10 night stay at the Maui Tradewinds a few weeks ago. We have travelled around the world and found our experience here to be the very best. Bev and David are superb hosts, always there when you need help, but never intrusive. We stayed in the suite, which is the lower portion of the... More

Maui Tradewinds couldn't have been a more perfect stop for our first few days in Hawaii, after the hustle and bustle of life in Sydney. After a warm greeting from Bev, she showed us around the suite which is spacious, clean, comfortable and private. There were generous grocery supplies, lots of kitchen equipment, a huge fridge, fresh flowers and fruit... More

We spent a month on Maui, first on the dry west side (Kehei), then took a week in the Haiku area on the north end of Maui and despite not being right on the Pacific, the Maui Tradewinds more than made up for it in the quality of our stay. It is easily one of the best places we have... More

We wanted a slightly out of the way, non resort stay on Maui, and the Maui Tradewinds was perfect. Bev and David are great hosts and are just a phone call away. They offer a lot of island information, yet respect the privacy of their guests. Their attention to details such as flowers and chocolates upon arrival for my birthday... More

We stayed 4 days at the Maui Trade Winds suit and our only regret is that we spent our first 5 days on the island at a luxury hotel. The place is absolutely amazing. Great view , somewhat secluded yet a very short drive to the small town of Paia to enjoy many great places to eat and do what... More

We stayed five days at Tradewinds and enjoyed the lovely location with beautiful view and our relaxing suite (with hot tube and a big hammock). The hosts Bev and David are very generous and respect privacy. Our suite was decorated with a large bouquet of fresh flowers and we loved the fresh fruits our hosts provided. We were also happy...
