We loved this historic B&B! Sandy was accommodating to our family of 4 (20 month old + 5 year old). The rooms were clean and comfortable. She has a relaxing and elegant vibe throughout the place. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and visit with other travelers at breakfast time. Great breakfast and good coffee too;) What a unique area of... More

Aloha and Mahalo Such kind words and a true reflection of what we try so hard to achieve for our guests, a pleasurable stay, filled with lots of attention to the small details and the feeling of truly living in Hawaii. We appreciate your honest comments and hope to see your family again on a return visit. It was as... More

This B&B is ideally located if you plan to to visit the Haleakala Crater before sunrise, or to hike on the west side of the National Park (e.g., to Twin Falls) This traditional Hawaiian house is very well appointed and in a lovely garden setting. Our room, the 'Maui Suite' was tiny, just large enough for our bed and two... More

Aloha, in response to this reviewer: Our clean fee is not maid service, however a clean out fee which is explained in the booking procedures. We also touch on this subject as to towel exchange and room refresh in the confirmation and the information book within the room, as well there is a notice in each bathroom with a door... More

This is a classic old Hawaii house. Our room and bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed the breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruit. Sandy was knowledgable of the area and fun to visit with. The Inn is conveniently located for a day trip down the Hana hi way or a trip to the volcano. Plenty of room in the house and... More

If you wish to expect the usual standard 0815 hotel room, please don't go there! If you like to drive in a garden, park your car, turn around one or two corners and find wonders all over the place, 2 larger terraces, exotic fruit trees, hidden benches, a huge "plantation lounge", a fairy tale kitchen and finally a charming room... We'd stayed here about two years ago and when we decided to return to Maui there was no question where we would stay. Sandy's B&B is somewhere we can relax among tropical grounds yet close to attractions and places to eat, particularly in Haiku center (walking distance). Once again we found other guests who enjoyed a chat over breakfast or... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Maui Christmas at the beautiful Haiku Plantation. Our "winter" wonderland retreat was surrounded by gorgeous palms a lush garden and sweet sounds of country Hawaiian habitat. You'll definitely feel like you're in your own Hawaiian tropical hideaway. Sandy is a gracious and very knowledgable host, with great restaurant recommendations to an even better... More

If you are looking for a charming place to stay and explore the less touristy but equally beautiful side of Maui, spend a few days in the Enchanted "Haiku Plantation Inn" - It is a beautifully restored Plantation style home that is showered with love by your friendly host, Sandy. Each room is reasonably priced and unique, and the grounds... More

My husband and I were happy to find this relaxing hideaway near Paia. Our room was comfortable and serene, with only the sound of birds to be heard. The lush green vegetation of the backyard was the perfect setting for early evening chats on the porch. The Inn is rather intimate, so it was easy to compare travel ideas with... More

I can't wait to go back-this was my second stay at the Inn. Sandy's historic Haiku Plantation Inn is the best place to stay on Maui. I have stayed in other B&Bs (before permits were required) on Maui and let's just say permitting was needed. If you are looking for the following, you are headed to the right place...far from...
