My stay at Haiku Plantation Inn was the absolute best. Well kept both inside & out. I love the variety of native plants & fruit trees that surround the house. The breakfast that Sandy (the owner) provides is bountiful. Even a jet lagged tourist like me who wakes up late, found a hand written note from Sandy saying enjoy breakfast... More

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Haiku Plantation Inn, and we hated to leave. Here's why: mornings on the porch sipping great coffee, listening to the birds; interesting conversations with our breakfast companions while eating fresh fruit and other delectables, including rambuton fruit, which we had never experienced; learning about the local culture and history from... This was a lovely B&B with pretty gardens. We arrived late at night but the welcome we received was so sweet - personalized welcome messages at the door and everything all set up in the room. The room itself was elegant, wonderfully decorated and had so much charm! The whole inn was so charming and created a friendly atmosphere all... More

We really enjoyed our experience at Haiku Plantation Inn.The Inn is located about a mile from the Hana highway , 45 min to Haleakalā National Park , and is about a 10 minute drive to the small hippy/surf town of Paia, which has a lot character, boutiques and a couple of restaurants. We often went there for dinner, as the... More

We loved this historic B&B! Sandy was accommodating to our family of 4 (20 month old + 5 year old). The rooms were clean and comfortable. She has a relaxing and elegant vibe throughout the place. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and visit with other travelers at breakfast time. Great breakfast and good coffee too;) What a unique area of... More

Aloha and Mahalo Such kind words and a true reflection of what we try so hard to achieve for our guests, a pleasurable stay, filled with lots of attention to the small details and the feeling of truly living in Hawaii. We appreciate your honest comments and hope to see your family again on a return visit. It was as... More

This B&B is ideally located if you plan to to visit the Haleakala Crater before sunrise, or to hike on the west side of the National Park (e.g., to Twin Falls) This traditional Hawaiian house is very well appointed and in a lovely garden setting. Our room, the 'Maui Suite' was tiny, just large enough for our bed and two... More

Aloha, in response to this reviewer: Our clean fee is not maid service, however a clean out fee which is explained in the booking procedures. We also touch on this subject as to towel exchange and room refresh in the confirmation and the information book within the room, as well there is a notice in each bathroom with a door... More

This is a classic old Hawaii house. Our room and bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed the breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruit. Sandy was knowledgable of the area and fun to visit with. The Inn is conveniently located for a day trip down the Hana hi way or a trip to the volcano. Plenty of room in the house and... More

If you wish to expect the usual standard 0815 hotel room, please don't go there! If you like to drive in a garden, park your car, turn around one or two corners and find wonders all over the place, 2 larger terraces, exotic fruit trees, hidden benches, a huge "plantation lounge", a fairy tale kitchen and finally a charming room... We'd stayed here about two years ago and when we decided to return to Maui there was no question where we would stay. Sandy's B&B is somewhere we can relax among tropical grounds yet close to attractions and places to eat, particularly in Haiku center (walking distance). Once again we found other guests who enjoyed a chat over breakfast or... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Maui Christmas at the beautiful Haiku Plantation. Our "winter" wonderland retreat was surrounded by gorgeous palms a lush garden and sweet sounds of country Hawaiian habitat. You'll definitely feel like you're in your own Hawaiian tropical hideaway. Sandy is a gracious and very knowledgable host, with great restaurant recommendations to an even better... More
