I loved this hotel. It has a lot of character. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at he restaurant was excellent, if a bit pricey. We enjoyed our stay. My son and daughter-in-law had a suite that was set off a bit with a great place for the family to gather.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Hotel Lanai and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Lanai. We rented the cottage and if it is available would recommend spending the little extra to get it. It is clean and had everything we needed. You are set off from the other rooms so it was fairly quiet. The best part... More

I must be honest, my husband and I were disappointed and thought the hotel was over priced for what we received. If we return we would rent a B&B or stay at one of the resorts, hands down. The 1920 hotel is a historical building, which appealed to me, but I've listed the pros and cons to help you decide... More

Had 4 nights at the hotel 2couples occupying rooms 1&2 which share the common veranda. Rooms are comfortable no phones or TV but free with-fi. Fridge in the closet. Bathrooms are compact but water was always hot. Staff extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and provide suggestions. Hotel supplied beach towels, flippers snorkels and face masks.Continental breakfast adequate however... More

When we arrived we were greeted by the owner. After checking in we were escorted to the "cottage" ,our room for the next three nights. The room had a tv and a queen bed with updated bath. Very comfortable. They serve a continental breakfast. The town has several nice shops including a couple restaurants and markets. The town is only... More

All the way around fantastic!! Very pleased that we chose to stay here. The grounds are lovely and set in the pines at the top of the little town. A historic building, you really feel like you are family as you cozy up to your neighbors on joint lanais and have a fantastic continental breakfast together (think family style bed... More

There are two Four Seasons resorts on the Isle of Lanai, great hotels...but I wouldn't choose either over the Hotel Lanai. The owners and staff are super friendly. The on-site restaurant: superb. This is the place the locals go to celebrate special occasions, and rightly so. There is a fun little bar, a great wine list and a menu to... More

We loved our accommodations and wonderful service at the Hotel Lana'i! It felt like we were really experiencing history in a lovingly cared for, nearly 100 year old plantation built by James Dole for his Dole pineapple company executives. We had a shared balcony, which we used every day to curl up in our wicker furniture and relax. Our little... More

This is the old Dole Plantation building where the workers could enjoy themselves. The building is in good condition and the rooms are quite comfortable, but there is very little privacy as you can hear your neighbors talk, the walls are so thin. There is an active bar and restaurant on the premises and that is equally noisy until it... More

We recently stayed at this wonderful property to celebrate the new year after a hectic 2013. What a great way to start - relaxing, friendly, no TV, a taste of old Hawaii. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are like a flashback to the old plantation times with wooden floors and Hawaiian quilt spreads, and so much... More
