Recently, my wife and I sought a relaxing Hawaiian getaway before our son is born in the fall. We settled on Lanai as a tranquil destination, but had a hard time deciding between the Lodge and the property at Manele Bay. In retrospect, I am *so* happy we elected to stay here. There really is no comparison between the properties.... More

Like earlier reviews. We really enjoyed going back to the lodge after a day at the beach or pool. The best reason to stay at Koele is the staff. I would like to single out particular people who made our 25th anniversary special. 1. Jessie - Bartender - Four Seasons has a gem here. He made us feel special. Bringing... More

Excellent hotel in every way - Four Seasons is the only perfectly-run hotel chain in the world. Some suggestions to make this hotel PERFECT: 1) The electric lawnmower is too loud (why not cut the grass manually? I'm sure the workers have plenty of time to do this). You should cut the grass maybe once a month, not every week.... More

This was our third visit, and this is my third review of the Lodge on Trip Advisor. I can't say enough. The Lodge is the ultimate in pampering and relaxation. Superb service (kudos to Fiona and Edith, concierges; Larry, Hawaiian entertainment in lobby; and Gerard and Kara, pool attendants at Manele Bay). Other Four Seasons may have just as good... More

If only all lodging were this wonderful!! If you are looking for peace and quiet in a country setting in Hawaii, this is the place. The grounds are beautiful with gardens and a pond. There is a putting course, and lovely walks. Everything about the place is well done, and love is in the details. We've stayed in the basic... More

We have had some amazing stays at the three other 4S properties in Hawaii, and in many ways, it felt like we saved the best for last for our most recent nine night getaway. (Skip to the bottom if you'd like to read a quick list of my take on the pros and cons of the other Four Seasons resorts... More

I am a Hawaii resident and have stayed at the both the Lodge and Manale Bay as a guest. They are lovely properties. This past April I was visiting with friends who live on Lanai and I stayed at their home. We did, however, dine out each evening one of which was the Lodge at Koele. The food was at... More

We almost didn't stay at The Lodge at Koele, but were convinced to do so by the manager at Manele Bay, who couldn't accommodate us for all the nights we wanted to stay there. He convinced us to spend our first couple of nights at The Lodge and our last several days at Manele Bay. We kind of wish we... More

I have to admit I was not sure what to expect from the Lodge on my beach & sand minded Hawaiian trip. Boy were we pleasantly surprised and found our new favorite stop while visiting HI. I was expecting to spend a lot of my time down at Manele Bay and the other resort left a lot to be desired.... More

Traveling to Hawaii is always a magical experience. Each island offers its own beauty and unique characteristics. The island of Lanai is a "private" island, and is not overrun with tourists, the way that the other main islands are. Lanai, in and of itself, is one of few isolated tropical paradises located within the United States. Though this is a... More
