if you go to the Hawaiian islands, be sure to book a night and a round of golf at the Lodge at Koele. 45 minutes from Maui, it is pretty close to the best resort I've ever been to. more

This is our second visit to the Lodge. Sometimes, on a repeat visit, the facility doesn't live up to the first visit or your memories. Well, the Lodge sure did. Our first trip, three years, we stayed 5 nights at the Lodge and then transferred over to Oahu and the Kahala Resort. This time, we stayed 9 nights, all on... more

I hesitate to give the Four Seasons Lodge at Koele such a low mark, as an overall review, because the staff there were very friendly, and that goes a long way with me, but something about the pricing of services is, I think, deplorable. If you're extremely wealthy, and you pay little attention to where your dollars go, then yes,... more

The Lodge is absolutely wonderful! The staff was spectacular, the room service was fantastic, the grounds were beautiful and the resturants were yummy! It was super peaceful and the only time you really saw other people was at night when dinner was being served. We stayed here for 6 nights and didn't encounter too many problems that were actually more... more

The Lodge was an extremely well-appointed, relaxing getaway - though it did feel more like Connecticut than Hawaii after staying down at the Manele Bay Four Seasons Set further inland and further up from sea level, it is decorated and designed like a sportsman's lodge. Inside, there is a huge great room area with 2 fireplaces, live music every night... more

The Lodge at Koele is a wonderful escape from Ordinary. Reciprocal use of facilities with Manele Bay hotel makes the lodge a wonderful option. You get the peace and quiet of the upcountry location while still being able to enjoy the beach. The grounds are exquisite. The beautiful tall pines that line the driveway let you know that you not... more

The Lodge at Koele is a wonderful get away. My husband and I enjoy going there to unwind, relax, and have fun. We often take the shuttle (great shuttle system) to Manele Bay in the morning to go snorkling in the bay - the best snorkeling anywhere! The hotel will lend you equipment down at the beach, which helps that... more

My wife and I have stayed at the Lodge at Koele 3 times in the past 2 years, most recently in February ‘09. We spent a week in Lanai in 2007 and were very impressed with th island. On that visit we stayed at Manele Bay but on that trip we “discovered” the Lodge, and that is the place for... more

This is one of the best properties in the world that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. We stayed for four nights at the end of February and did not want to leave. This was our second visit to the Lodge, and since our last visit in August of 2007, they have made certain welcome and impressive changes.... more

As someone who has traveled throughout Hawaii (Princeville at Kauai, Four Seasons at Maui, and Four Seasons at Big Island), the Four Seasons at Lanai takes the cake. My wife and I stayed there from Feb 4-11 and as soon as I arrived, any stress I had instantly melted from my body. Why I loved it: 1) We flew into... more
