We are quite pleased with this little Inn. There isn't a lot lodging in Waimea and most of them are overpriced. But this place is very reasonably priced and located in the middle of the town Waimea. Ocean is just back yard. Good restaurant Wrangler is right around the corner (since it is the same owner, you get 10% to... More

Patrick was very welcoming and keen to make sure we got the most out of our visit to Waimea and the surrounding area. The Inn was a lovely change from impersonal hotels. Tip: Make sure you watch the sunset from the nearby pier

I booked my entire trip just over 24 hours before flying to Kauai. My initial Airbnb for the first two nights in Waimea fell through, and I was able to make on the fly arrangements with Patrick. Patrick is a real estate pro who moved to the island from the Seattle area, and his approach is on the one hand... More

Everthing was great! Waimea is the perfect spot to visit the waimea canyon but alos very close to some nice beaches. Patrick was very kind and helpful in planing our stay in waimea (he has many good hints for trips).

Came to Kauai for work and was happy to be able to stay in a West Kauai Lodging rental again. The Pali Cottage was quaint and clean, and a prime location for me to get to work. It was peaceful and quiet up in Waimea Heights, and had pretty much everything I needed. View was amazing. Property manager is friendly... More

Patrick McLean and his caring staff were extraordinarily welcoming , accommodating, and full of ideas and recommendations for a fulfilling stay in west Kauai. The rooms were very spacious, air conditioned, and adorned with all of the little necessities one may forget to bring! Complimentary Kauai coffee and chocolates were certainly appreciated. I would highly recommend the Inn Waimea, and... More

The rooms at the Inn Waimea are perfectly located for Canyon hiking and Polihale surfing. Patrick is very accommodating and there is much attention to detail. It's excellent value for the money and I will return again.

This small guesthouse sits just off the main highway in Waimea, on the Southwest coast of Kauai. It is very convenient to the Waimea Valley, but a bit of a drive if you want to go to the Na Pali coast. With only four rooms, it is a very quiet and relaxing option for any length of stay. The exterior... More

Thanks for the feedback and even better to hear that you had the chance to see multiple rooms! It sounds as if he stayed in the Taro Room and the Banana Suite. The Banana Suite is the only unit with a tub. I'll look into the quality of "Bubbles" in the two person Jacuzzi tub- sorry to say that we... More

I recently stayed at the Inn Waimea and rented the beachfront cabin. We had a very warm, friendly greeting by the manager. The cabin was spotless! Both bedrooms had air conditioners, but we didn't need them as the open windows allowed the ocean breeze to blow through. From the Inn, you can be on the beach in literally 20 seconds.... More

Thanks Doug and glad to hear you had a great time! For the record, the unit he was in was the "Beach Cottage" and is one lot back from the beach. On our projects list is to someday remodel so it can realize its potential and ocean views. It is a great affordable and well located cottage. Mahalo! More

The location is wonderful, the old building has lots of charm, but it could really use a good updating. The carpet was very shabby, the shower wasn't very clean, and there was a fair amount of dust in the room. One window had no blind on it. It wasn't filthy or anything... just needs a really good going over.

Thanks for the feedback and I will look into this. As I'm sure with any Historic Property, we have a long list of desired purchases and upgrades. First for us was to get the exterior to be the attractive feature it deserves. We have now accomplished this! We are making great progress and will continue to upgrade the property in... More
