Since we didn’t want to stay in a big resort hotel, we decided to stay in this small inn and explore the West and South coast from there. We had booked the very affordable Taro Room that is located on the 1st floor for three nights. The room is big which served us very well and the shower is huge.... More

My husband and I stayed here to be close to Port Allen Harbor - it was much more convenient than fighting the traffic on the east side of the island, plus the south shore tends to be sunnier. The Inn has a great location - it's a block off the highway and close enough to walk to restaurants, the grocery... More

Mahalo for the feedback! For the record, Waimea Town is a small touch sunnier than Poipu. Most like the sun on their trip. These guests stayed two nights; arriving later Friday and leaving Sunday. Saturday was my son's first birthday and I was on this special occasion not in the office. Housekeeping was here for any needs. We are glad... More

This little four room inn in the center of town is handy, clean, inexpensive, and "good enough." It is not especially attractive, luxurious or service oriented. People are nice enough, just not around much. The place is adequate for sleeping, changing and showering, but not a place to hang out (unless you just want to read a book, I suppose.... More

Mahalo David for your feedback. We encourage communication regarding our services. We would like to provide a little more information. It should be noted that David stayed in our least expensive unit. While we would characterize this unit as "Affordable, Clean, Comfortable, and Historic"; we feel that while we're sure it was not David's intention, "Cheap" leaves a more negative... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn Waimea. We stayed in the Bamboo Suite, which had a lovely view and was very comfortable. The beach is a short walk away, close enough to hear the waves crashing on the shore at night. Patrick was a wonderful host! He gave us suggestions for great places to eat and directions to... More

We stayed at The Inn Waimea's Beach Cottage that is across the street from the Inn and just a few yards from the beach. The cottage is old plantation style and so nicely decorated and very clean. It is old and the owners are still in the process of renovating the exterior but the inside is so cute and we... More

We loved our few nights at the Inn Waimea. As the other reviews indicate, it is right in town, so you can walk to the shops and cafés, and you have the beach right there (with spectacular sunsets. The pier and Niihau add to the photo ops). And, you are close to the canyon and Polihale and Salt Pond Beach.... More

This was a very comfy place in a small town. It's near a beautiful state park featuring "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific" so if you want to be near great hiking, but not actually camping out this place is good. The room we had was a suite -- a nice size sitting room with a fridge and a separate... More

We are quite pleased with this little Inn. There isn't a lot lodging in Waimea and most of them are overpriced. But this place is very reasonably priced and located in the middle of the town Waimea. Ocean is just back yard. Good restaurant Wrangler is right around the corner (since it is the same owner, you get 10% to... More

Patrick was very welcoming and keen to make sure we got the most out of our visit to Waimea and the surrounding area. The Inn was a lovely change from impersonal hotels. Tip: Make sure you watch the sunset from the nearby pier

I booked my entire trip just over 24 hours before flying to Kauai. My initial Airbnb for the first two nights in Waimea fell through, and I was able to make on the fly arrangements with Patrick. Patrick is a real estate pro who moved to the island from the Seattle area, and his approach is on the one hand... More
