We spent 5 days in a cottage with ocean view. Extremely wellcoming staff at arrival taking time to explain all activities in and out the hotel. Very well located to visist the canyon (wawww) and de napali coast boat tours (waww) that depart from Port Allen, ten minutes fiurther on. The cottages are very spacy (but we were as a... More

We spent 3 lovely days at "our" cottage, it was peaceful, serene, great ocean views AND we wish we were still there! After being at Princeville with no A/C, having that in our bedroom was so welcomed. This side of the island is even more quiet than the other side, if you want a quick entrance to the canyon, this... We stayed at the plantation cottages for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We were thinking that the cottages would be a little more spread out, so just be aware that they are much closer together than you might think, but it was still a wonderful stay. Get a beachfront cottage if you... More

Hotel staff was very welcoming on arrival. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Room was very clean with full kitchen and cookware. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Lanai was very nice. Close to Waimea Canyon, Polihale State park and walking distance to Waimea. We will definitely stay here again!

We had visited the resort before on the way up Waimea, but this was our first time staying at the Waimea Plantation Cottages. It exceeded our expectations. The cottages are mostly sugar cane plantation worker cottages, though they have been furnished to resort standards. We had a garden view one bedroom cottage, which is the low end of what is... More

We've just stayed at Waimea Plantation Cottages for a week as a family of 5 with 3 children (11, 8 & 5), and this both met and exceeded our expectations. Set in a sugar plantation, each cottage is individual, well spaced apart and has all the facilities needed for self-catering. The ocean is within a minute's walk, there's a swimming... More

Staying at Waimea Plantation Cottages on the west-side of Kauai is a "must do" for a unique Hawaiian experience. I had a top quality stay in the beautiful historic grounds that I will tell my friends and family about in detail.

We stayed in cottage #50 and it was imperfectly perfect! It was a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage with a lovely sized living area, kitchen and large bedrooms. Bedrooms 2 & 3 shared a 2-way bathroom and the main bedroom had a generous ensue area. There was a back deck that swept around the back of the cottage that stepped... More

The property is beautiful and our experience with the front desk help (Aaron) was absolutely perfect. We had no way of knowing what horror was awaiting us. Next, in all fairness, I must say that I firmly believe that every cabin in this facility is different and that there are probably many nice cabins - we just didn't get a... More

Sigh.... This place was picturesque but the cottages are just pretty to look at. Rooms are ill-equipped for standard expectations of a "perfect location" as your website describes. Remember: we still have to sleep while on vacation.
