We recently spent ten days in Princeville, on the island of Kauai, in a privately owned (spectacular!) condominium (Puu Poa, Unit #406). Our accomodations were fantastic, top floor overlooking the ocean and Bali Hai. The condo included a gas grill on one of the lanai's, so we were able to cook some of our meals in, which was a bonus!... more

If you are visiting Kauai, I highly recommend the Wizard Pub.com site to find a condo or resort. Once on the site click the main page, then click on Utlimate Kauai, then Resorts and Aerials. Scroll down to the map of Kauai with ALL the resorts and condo's listed. Click on the resort you are interested in. But, I highly... more

My family (4 adults and 2 teenagers) had a wonderful stay at Pu'u Poa #301 last April for one week. This is the 4th time we have stayed in this unit (first time was 10 years ago). They've redecorated between our 2-3rd trip, and the kitchen is awesome! As an avid Trip Advisor user, I want to provide the kind... more

Just stayed in unit 411 earlier this month. It truly is special. Obviously recently remodeled with first class materials and appliances, the entire spacious unit has views of the Bali Hai coast, endless sunsets, whales, surfers and Hideaways beach and reef just below. We don't really care for the Chinese antiques but the rest of the furnishings were great and... more

Because of all the reviews of this complex we decided to give it a try and because of the most wonderful trip we had, we decided to give it a review. What a beautiful place! This is our 8th trip to Kauai, but our first on the north side and it won't be our last. We got married right on... more

We give Unit 405 a mixed review - great setting, but needs remodeling. Incredible location - bluff above the ocean, million dollar view, adjacent the Princeville Resort. The cove below the property is a steep hike down, offering good snorkeling when the ocean is calm (not winter). Runners can take a path along the golf course and get five miles... more

We stayed in this unit for a week at the end of January 2008, and could easily have spent a month there. Since the weather was less than optimal, it was cold, rainy, and windy, we loved spending time in this comfortable, well equipped condo. The best part was the view from the deck...if you stood by the rail you... more

This unit does not disappoint! We were truly thrilled with the view, the location, the amenities, the beach equipment, telescope for whale watching, DVDs, etc. It far exceeded our expectations, and we will definately book it again. This is a ground unit on the corner and really gives you the feeling of privacy and your own "backyard". Kauai Vacation Rentals... more

Let me first paint the picture we had going for us around December 14, 2008. We arrived in Kauai and checked out another property we were to stay in for December 29 to January 5th. That other facility had changed management and had stopped renovations and the units were extremely sub par. Because we had some health issues we were... more
