Our family of four had an opportunity to stay at the Bali Hai Villas in November through RCI. We had a one bedroom unit on the second floor with a lanai (balcony for the non Hawaiian speakers :-)), overlooking the faux waterfall. Having the waterfall was a good idea for white noise, as the windows are not sound proofed for... More

Wow, oh Wow! Just go sit and look out over the pool! The entry! The grounds! The UNITS! We really enjoyed our few days at Bali Hai villas. We had a two bedroom presidential (a free upgrade via our Wyndham ownership program). It was spacious, and set facing lush gardens. We cooked in - the kitchen was more than adequate... More

We needed to use up some of our timeshare time before the end of the year and decided to come back to Kauai. First of all let me preface this review by saying that we've owned a timeshare on Kauai since 1992. Of all the Hawaiian islands this is our favourite. It blends all of the good things that Hawaii... This was our second time at the Villas, and we once again enjoyed our trip. Our units were renovated, and well furnished. We had two, two bedroom units for our extended family, and stayed in building number 7. I think it was an older building, as it had a slightly musty smell, which we didn't notice on our previous trip.... More

I should never have given Wyndham my cell phone number. Apparently they think it's okay to call me at 6 A.M. while I am on vacation. I get the feeling that they have very little desire to improve my experience while I'm actually staying here. They just want to figure out how to get more money from me. If you... More

We just came from staying one week at Bali Hai. I was a bit skeptical due to other reviews I had read. I loved it. The villas are spacious and nicely furnished. The beds are comfortable. I loved not having air conditioning. There are ceiling fans in every room. We got lovely cross breezes when the doors and windows were... More

Today we checked out of the Bali Hai Villas after a lovely week. Our 2 bedroom unit was very clean, nicely decorated and staff was excellent. There was no maid service the entire week. In order to have our room cleaned the charge was an additional $170 unless we wanted clean sheets and then it was $195.00. I really felt... More

Our family of 4 spent a week in Kauai in Princeville and was very pleased with out stay. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they accommodated us immediately. We booked a 2-bedroom unit and prior to arrival requested to have an upstairs unit. The front desk even asked how old our kids are to try to see if... More

On the surface this place looks nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and the pool area looks wonderful. Now the bad, 2 GLARING issues for us. 1. There is no AC, in a little defense of this place though, most places do not have AC. Clothes were dampish, made it near impossible to sleep, we just felt greasy... More

RCI owners like myself was placed in an older unit. Blamed it on me for booking through RCI. No AC and no tradewinds. The room was hot, stuffy and not worth it. You're better off camping by the beach, it's free and you'll have more money to spend on activities on the island. No matter what they offered it was... More
