This is a truly spectacular property in a spectacular location with spectacular views. We found cockroaches in our room. Absolutely disgusting. We had to throw away our luggage and most of my purses and clothes. Thousands of dollars were wasted on what we threw away because of the SEVERAL cockroaches we found in our room. Our stay was great until we saw them.

What a great family visit we had at the St. Regis. It far exceeded any expectations we had, which were lofty given it was a St. Regis hotel. Every detail of this place was EXTRAORDINARY. From the rooms, to the pools, to the beach to the grounds, to the staff, and the food, and the....I can go on for days.... More

We recently stayed at this resort for five nights. We have previously stayed at the St. Regis Monarch Beach and the St. Regis San Francisco. The Princeville hotel has a beautiful setting, but that is where the comparison ends. Housekeeping was terrible - the room was filthy with layers of dust on the lamp, non working light bulb covered in... More

The views here are beautiful. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a good location to explore Kauai. The restaurants are only OK, especially for the price, but there are other places to eat nearby.

Save your money. This place is way overpriced for what it is. The Marriott in Lihue had a better hotel, pool, restaurant, etc. The ONLY thing that this place has going for it is the view. The view. That's it. Why pay $500+ a night for this hotel - when the pool is mediocre, the food is average, and the... More

This hotel was a dream. The staff could not have been more accommodating, polite, or solicitous of your comfort and well being. Concierge services helped round out our Kauai experiences although it was difficult to peel the family away from the grounds. As frequent travelers, we have been spoiled before but never to the level experienced at the St. Regis... More

What a beautiful hotel the St Regis is, definitely the best on the island! From the valet to the front desk to the service in the restaurants, it was amazing. We were in a room with a beautiful view of the beach and were even offered an upgrade later on to a full ocean view, but we loved our room... More

We spent four nights at the St. Regis in June. I completely agree with a prior reviewer about why this is not a perfect property. The rooms were lovely and the spa is too. The beach location and the activities available on the beach are fantastic. We especially loved the Island Sails sunset sail on a hawaiian outrigger sailboat. BUT,... More

Just wanted to pass along that if you are staying at the St. Regis on Kauai, take the opportunity to have some family photos or just the kids taken. The team at Pacific Dream Photography, located right in the hotel, made it so easy. They were very accommodating and fit us in just before we left. We have a 12... More
