This was a nice condo, but I absolutely would not stay here again. Maybe it's not the owners. Maybe it is Hanalei Property Management, but, they kept over 25% extra of our security deposit despite the fact that we twice disputed their "extra cleaning necessary claims." We had a perfect vacation on Kauai and staying at the Plantation at Princeville in condo 1221 was a big part of it. We stayed in Plantations #1511 in May 0f 2008. I'll tell you, this place is really close to perfect. It right on the north shore near Princeville, it's modern, nicely decorated, you have your own private garage, and it's cheap (we payed 135 a night for a 2 bedroom).
