We had the pleasure of staying in unit 133 last weekend! Wow!!! We now have a new favorite place for special occasions!! The unit was pristine and the location unbeatable!! The property manager, Marianne, was very nice and shows such pride of the property and treats everyone with genuine warm Aloha! We also met Venus and Ida of the very... More

Wow! We stayed 7 nights in unit 135, a 3rd floor one bedroom deluxe ocean front condo. This condo took "ocean front" to a whole new level. We had sweeping 180 views of the Pacific from our large lanai and bedroom. Waves crashed against the lava rocks only steps away. We saw sea turtles in the water from our lanai.... More

I have stayed at the cove several times over the years and I had the opportunity to stay in unit 110 and I couldn't have been more pleased. It was very nice to practically have my own house in Poipu It is probably the most private unit there. It was very well appointed. Clean and fresh and very comfortable. And... More

My boyfriend and I recently visited Kauai for the first time… and I was blown away by the amazing whalers cover resort! The views from our room 211 absolutely took our breath away, the warm ocean breeze flowed right into the living room with the brilliant blue pool literally on our doorstep. The staff treated us all like family as... More

I have traveled to Kauai 5 times and Whaler's Cove is without a doubt the best place to stay on the south shore, hands down. The property is meticulously maintained, inside and out and its onsight management is simply top notch. Anything you need they have and they provide it joyfully! The units are double the size of most condos... More

This is our third time to Whalers Cove and we have enjoyed it every bit as much as the first time we came here and we will be back again...hopefully next year. We come here to escape our Australian winter, to soak up the sun, surf and beach/pool time. We have a 3.5 year old and a 1.5 year old... More

First time on Kauai. So glad we found this place! Condo 223 was beautiful, quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. The pool is on the small side, but is perfect for a serene cooling dip and sun bathing beneath the broad Hawaiian sky. The oceanfront setting allowed us to fall asleep and wake to the relaxing sounds of the... More

We have stayed here twice and just love it, quite and the sound of the waves rocking you to sleep can't be beat. The staff is always super friendly and helpful with anything you need. Some units are decorated better than others, but all are clean and have great views. I do feel this resort is not very children friendly,... More

Finding accommodation in Kauai can be daunting as there a lot of choices if you're looking for a rental like we were. It was our first time to the island and fortunately we got lucky -- we couldn't have asked for a better experience at Whaler's Cove! We booked our room through Hotels.com and stayed in unit 120, an ocean... More

We just stayed in unit 232 at Whalers Cove for 4 nights. The setting is amazing, right on the water next to Koa Landing. We did a couple of dives off Koa Landing, so the location was epic. The grounds were quite nice, and we even used their barbecues one night to cook up some fresh steak and fish. The... More
