We stayed at the Grand Hyatt last fall and what a wonderful stay it was! We were most impressed by the gorgeous decor of the hotel--the floral and ocean views were breathtaking. This trip was for our honeymoon. We were expecting "the most romantic hotel" on the island. However, the hotel did not seem any "more romantic" than other hotels we have stayed in. Having said that, the grounds were beautiful and very clean. The property is very large and we were initially assigned a room in one of the end buildings.... more

Visited the Hyatt for the second leg of our honeymoon in June of 2008. It was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful in booking tours and providing recommendations for dinner. The Grand Hyatt is a really wonderful hotel! My wife and I were in Hawaii for our honeymoon and the hotel was great! The room was clean and they even upgraded us to an ocean view room for free which was not necessary, but very fun. The rooms are nothing exceptional on their own. This is a great place to enjoy yout honeymoon or other romantic getaway but the rooms are small.... When you have been traveling for some time and have enjoyed the comforts of a large say 800 SF to 1,200 SF suite it is just hard getting used to a high class resort with such small rooms.... What an amazing pool-area!! A whole saltwater lagune and massive pool. We stayed in a club-room and used the clublounge a lot and it was great food and service. This hotel is expensive, but you get what you pay for - Great for honeymoon. more
