Rented Unit 502 from VRBO. Was a pleasant experience renting. The deposit process was quite smooth--we exchanged emails and phone calls. I paid with credit card for deposit and actual amount. Ocean view, deluxe, well-equipped condo. Why spend $300+ per night for a 3 or 4 star resort hotel when $195 will get you this 2 BR, 2 bath unit with 2 balconies? Well-maintained grounds. My husband, baby and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Nihi Kai. We stayed in unit 300 which was an extremely large and well appointed unit . The large living space was great for our one year old to crawl/wander around - be warned however that the stairs are a great temptation for little ones!... more

Nihi Kai Villas is the closest resort to Poipu Beach and now they have a unit which is air conditioned - the only air conditioned space at Nihi Kai - it's unit 504 - ask for it and you won't be sorry - excellent ocean view is a plus! We have stayed at Nihi Kai for years but this condo... more

We truly enjoyed Nihi Kai. Sure it wasn't brand new but with a four year old and two year, as well as grandma and grandpa it was spacious enough for the kids not to get bored and the property was nice and quiet for naps and for early bedtimes.
