Amazing property and service- everything that defines the aloha spirit wrapped in such a romantic and relaxing package! Our room & lanai were so perfect, and what a view!! It was also such a luxury to have the Red Salt restaurant on site that provided us with some terrific meals. Definitely 5 star on the Lobster Ravioli!!

My wife and I spent our 32nd wedding anniversary here and it did not disappoint .The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very accomadating .We had dinner at the Red Salt and we both agreed that it may have been the best steak we ever had . Top notch place ! We will go back !!

A fantastic small resort with direct access to two beautiful beaches. The restaurant serves meals of a night time (the best meal we had in our five nights on Kauai so be sure to book a table as it is popular with both in-house guests and visitors. Breakfast was also very good with both a la carte and buffet options... More

Koa Kea was a really nice small hotel. The service was excellent. We had maid service twice a day. Free Valet. All of the staff was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was very good also. We had the filet and shrimp carbonara.

We had a very nice time at the Koa Kea on our honeymoon early this month. Koa Kea was small enough to feel very personal, with friendly staff who all recognized us and/or addressed us by name. The rooms were nicely appointed, and the location was great. Having perused all the hotels on Po'ipu Beach, we would return to the... More

My boyfriend and i have stayed at Koa Kea twice. Our first visit was in 2012 and absolutely loved it. We loved it so much that for my birthday he surprised me and we stayed there in October 2014 (this review will reflect the most recent October 2014 stay). This is my very first trip advisor review, i apologize if... More

Very nice hotel, almost an oasis. Thankfully no families with screaming kids - unlike the next door Marriott vacation club. Nice to stay away from big resorts for a change and go for a smaller more intimate resort. Easy to reach from airport. Rooms are not super fancy but the resort is very nice. Restaurant was very good, lots of... More

Koa Kea does what it does very well. If you want the big resort experience, you're better off at the Hyatt or St. Regis, but if you want a relaxed, down-to-earth spot with amenities that are perfect for this sized hotel then I think this is a great choice. Getting to the hotel does raise a few eyebrows since it... More

The Koa Kea was the perfect resort for my birthday weekend. The resort is large enough that it provides all the amenities someone would expect from a resort, but it is not so big and bulky, that you are just another number. Upon arrival, the check-in process was simple, the woman behind the desk escorted us to our room to... More

We've stayed at lots of hotels over the years, but enjoyed this one the best. Compared to some hotels (especially in the Far East) the rooms are smaller. The pool is really quite small. The architecture of the rooms isn't special. BUT.... the whole package is superb. The staff are all - without reservation - friendly and efficient and make... More
