We had a wonderful vacation celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at the Castle Kaha Lani. It far exceeded our expectations. It is in a great location, only minutes away from really everything. Unit 108 needs updating and TLC. I'll start with the Good. Nice location, close to Kapaa but without all the traffic. Grounds are well kept. 20 year old Motel 6 with better furniture. Peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, rust everywhere. Apparently these people will rent anything in any condition. Outside landscaping is well maintained, but don't let that fool you. This place literally will not meet the government's Minimum Property Standards. more

The only enjoyable part of this place is the view. There are some rooms which are newly updated and some that are outdated. We ended up with one of the out-dated ones which definitely needed updating. The sofa had stains, carpet was dirty, bathrooms were outdated but manageable. No A/C was a biggest minus.
