Marriott's Kauai Lagoons is one of the nicest facilities I've ever had the privilege to visit. I'm an owner at the Marriott Beach Club and will have a very difficult time ever going back there. The grounds and service was all top notch. The rooms are spacious and very well laid out with really not a bad view. All rooms,... More

Breathe taking views from throughout our 1300 square foot villa. Located in the middle of the island, so it is convenient to reach any destination on the island. I have stayed at the Marriott down the hill but this was by far superior to the other property. Pool area is a bit small but the overall facility is small so... More

The hotel is very nice and clean. They keep the place in tip top shape. The pool area was wonderful and relaxing. We had an awesome view from the 4th floor looking out to the ocean. Can't get to the beach from where you are but can see it. The pool is very shallow, mainly for relaxation and couldn't complain... More

This review is long overdue, but the hotel and property are top notch. It has all the amenities you need in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Other reviewers mention the airport nearby. We didn't find this to be a problem at all. The location made it easy to explore and enjoy the rest of the island. I highly recommend the Kauai... More

Lots of reviews here about what the resort has to offer and they're correct. The rooms are excellent, the people are nice and the mountain view is great. We were there in September and it was unseasonably hot (90 degrees every day for a week). We made use of the pool and found the number of umbrellas insufficient. Only select... More

This was our first stay at the Lagoons. We had just spent a week at the Marriott Waiohai and the peace and quiet at Lagoons was perfect. We actually didn't mind the Helicopters and judged the day by the number of flights. The location offered a walk for lunch at Dukes, a walk for Bloody Mary's at the Beach Resort,... More

Ok, this is our second stay here (and our 14th year on Kauai) and we returned to The Kauai Lagoons for the very reasons that all of the positive reviews describe. However, the one negative about this property remains from our first visit two years ago: the noisy airport right next door. I realize that the noise is not the... More

Stayed in the two bedroom villa. Wonderful. Full kitchen with granite counter tops and utensils and cooking gadgets, balcony, 2 bed 2 bath and sofa bed. Laundry room! This establishment is very quiet. If you're looking for a typical hotel feel this isn't it. It's like your own condo. I really love the pool, though it's smaller than typical hotel... More

Just checked out of Marriotts Vacation Resort Kauai Lagoons Kalanipu'u, Wednesday (9/3/14); the property is amazing. The view overlooking the entrance to the Nawiliwili Harbor and Kauai's "Sleeping Man" is more beautiful than one can imagine. As expected of a Marriott resort the grounds are incredible. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa overlooking the entrance to the... More

My husband and I were given one week at the Marriott as a wedding gift in 2001, and I must say it was the best & most memorable wedding gift we received. The hotel was beyond amazing and the private beach was wonderful. We sat on the beach every day, the water was never rough and the hotel's location was... More
