Stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean-view condo (#211), looking toward the ocean over the lagoon. Condo was very clean and well equipped for a family (sleeps 6), but no washer/dryer in unit (usually only privately owned units have them). Great Island, nice and quiet. Very nice accomodations, although not for the young and energentic. 3 nights we were on the balcony just talking and laughing and all 3 nights security came to the door with complaints from other guests. The property grounds & service are nice. However, these units do not have a/c or windows. A/c is not so important, but windows are a must. There are roosters all over the island and they start crowing at 4am. We arrived at the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation on May 12th. You definitely need a car to get around. It was very easy getting around the island. With a good map, you shouldn't have any problems.
