I just finished my stay here at the Aston Aloha Beach Hotel, and quite frankly the title of my review explains it all. When you pay $89 a night please dont except the Ritz Carlton or the Hyatt. This room was clean and perfect to sleep here. Yea the tvs are from the 60s but seriously I knew what I... More

We stayed at this hotel in the winter of 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had one of the cabins by the playground and the most amazing sunrises I've ever seen. The playground and beach were never crowded and swimming in the Lydgate pools with marine life was a bonus. Very retro place which is exactly what we were looking... More

My first trip to Kauai, and likely my last, mostly due to this frighteningly old, outdated, decrepit, amenity-less excuse for a hotel. I feel sorry for anyone naive and hopeful enough to book this place. I seriously did not think U.S. hotels were still able to legally screw people like this. Sad. We booked six days at this place through... More

I really liked this place it was clean, up to date. The outside was so beautiful and the beach was maybe 300 feet from our room. Close to everything that you could want to do. We picked this place because of the price, it was very inexpensive, we knew we were going to be busy and only sleeping in the... More

This hotel should not be open. No one should ever pay any money to stay here. Nothing has been updated in at least 30 years. We arrived here to our horror after a wonderful week at the Westin on Maui. Just driving into the parking lot felt depressing. We no longer felt like we were in Hawaii but rather at... More

Now mind you I had been to this Hotel 26 years ago when it was new and I loved it. So when we got to the hotel and room we were stunned that it seemed as if it were in a time warp, nothing had been fixed in 26 years NO Air-conditioning for 3 of our 5 nights, NO hot... More

We stayed here one night. Less than 12 hours, yet we were forced to pay an $18.75 Resort Fee. The fee gave us wi-fi, a local paper, in-room coffee, and a morning fruit plate that consisted of tasteless slices of cantaloupe, honeydew, papaya, and pineapple. We wanted to order breakfast off the ala carte menu, but could not find anybody... More

This hotel wasn't the best, but it did what we needed. We were out early and back in the room fairly late or were too tired to care. The bed was comfortable enough but the rooms aren't pleasant looking. The only bonus was that we had a kitchenette. It gets the job done but if you are looking for more... More

As a timeshare owner on 2 islands sometimes one week doesn't coincide with the 2nd week, so we desired a single night at Kapaa. We read the reviews and were prepared for the good, bad and the ugly. The place seems to have seen better days and has great potential to be revamped to a nice and pricey place. We... More

Never ever ever stay here again. Absolutely disgusting. This hotel was foreclosed and someone bought it and reopened it with plans to renovate, should have stayed closed. There was mold/ mildew coming from A/C unit. Mold/mildew on stained curtains. My husband has a habit of looking under the bed and found a ton of cobwebs and in furniture. Everything metal... More
