Stayed here for a week in early July and was warmly greeted by the front desk staff upon arrival. All staff seemed very friendly and service oriented. The hotel room is exactly as pictured on the hotel website and is truly 320 square feet. The bathroom is small, clean, but starting to show wear since their renovation. Good location in... more

I like hotels that give more for the money and I thought this one definitely fit that category. The location is perfect right in Kapaa (the largest (albeit small)) city -- so easy to go to the west or the north (which you should do. The staff wouldn't tell us where Queen's Bath was located but we found it on... more

My wife and I and two kids (ages 8 and 11) stayed here end of June 2009 for one week. Our last time in Kauai was 15 years ago for our honeymoon in which we stayed at Hyatt in Poipu. This was no comparison to Hyatt but for the price we paid (maybe half the rate) it was very nice.... more

My 10 year old daughter and I stayed here for 12 days June 2 to 14th. We could not have been happier with the location and the ammenities. The pool was clean and always available, but the hot tub spa beside the pool was way too hot to enjoy, especially if we had even a minor sunburn. I like hot... more

My wife and I booked this hotel through a last-minute vacation package on Travelocity. Not sure how much we paid per night, but I'm sure it was fairly cheap by Hawaii standards. We were excited about the great deal. Then we checked into our room. The first thing that struck us was the musty smell, and the feeling like the... more

This hotel is located in the middle of the island, within walking distance to major grocery & health food shopping. Really nice walking park next door, and the staff was helpful & courteous. more

We were there for 9 days in Aprl, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We received a free upgrade to a deluxe ocean front room, very peaceful and quiet, grounds were very clean, housekeeping services perfect. The activities people were extremely helpful in booking a helicopter tour, boat cruise and dinner reservations around the island.... more

Upon driving up to the hotel, my husband and I were thrilled at the location. It was right near The Coconut Marketplace (a must see) and was very close to many things we wanted to do. The outside of the hotel was beautiful and well maintained. The inside was lovely and so relaxing. The hotel had such an interesting design... more

We just returned from our trip to Kauai, and Hawaii (Big Island). We really enjoyed the time at the Aston Kauai Beach at Makaiwa. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. They made us feel at home. Our room was clean and well furnished, and the location was very good, next to coconut market, and has good access to the... more
