We stayed the first week in June in Oceanfront A304 -- if I'm remembering the number correctly. I know other reviewers got great rates through vrbo, but we booked through AAA and were very happy with the deal. Every third night was free -- we stayed 6 nights, so two nights free. Also, no booking or cleaning fees to pay.... more

My husband and I just returned from a 10 day honeymoon at beautiful Waipouli resort and we are already missing it! Kauai is the most beautiful place we have ever been! Condo: The condo H305 was amazing! The owners have put extra time and effort into decorating their condo and it is a step above the rest. DO NOT book... more

This place was perfect - but definately book privately through VRBO for a much cheaper price. The condos were so amazing that we were disappointed to have to go home. The pool is very relaxing and the waterfalls in the pool block out any noise. The sand bottom hot tubs were amazing. It is located directly across the street from... more

We just returned from a week stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort. It was wonderful. It is even better than its photos. It is an excellent location, making it very easy to go either north or south. It is not in as ritzy an area as Princeville or Poipu, but once you are at the resort, everything is first class.... more

I'm a hotel snob & extremely picky; therefore when we drove up and turned into the property, I was immediately disappointed because it was directly across the street from a shopping center and not set off the street like the Princeville Resort. How could I have a peaceful, serene experience at this place? Instinctively, I judged the book before opening... more

My husband and I went back to Hawaii for our 1st anniversary and decided to get a condo instead of staying at a big name hotel chain. It was a great idea, especially at this place. We actually rented through VRBO instead of Outrigger because we liked knowing exactly what unit we were getting and it was actually slightly cheaper.... more

We are thrilled about or decision to stay at Waipouli Beach Resort. We were told that Poipu was "the place" to stay, but we are very happy with our decision. Since Waipouli is on the East side of the island, it puts us in the middle of the North and South, which makes it easier for day trips to see... more

Simply put, this place is incredible! My wife and I spent 3 nights here for the last half of our honeymoon in Kauai. We knew we got a super good deal booking a package through a travel site but we really had no idea how great this place was until we got there. 2 bedroom with 1 king and 1... more

I have stayed at the Waipouli Beach Resort several times in the last year and found it to be quite amazing compared to other hotels on the island. Being a resident here, i often stay at the various hotels including the Grand Hyatt, Sheraton Poipu, and even the Princeville hotel when it was up and operating, just to have the... more

First off- do not book through outrigger. They have limited units and charge way too much. Go to VRBO and you can rent from the owner via realtor and actually see your unit and pictures prior. We were so glad we went through a private party- as we only had 2 encounters with the staff- and let's just say- they... more
