We stayed in the Plumeria Suite which had a bedroom, large bathroom, living area and a full kitchen. No tiny refigerator but a full size unit. there was total privacy as the Inn was full with all four suites occupied but we never even saw the other residents. Perfect place for quite and solitude. It is centrally located and easy... more

We booked the Kauai Country Inn for a week in February, 2008. The location is great - centrally located so you can go north or south to see the sites on the island. The Inn is immaculate. Everything you need for your vacation is provided - coolers, beach chairs, beach mats and towels, etc. We felt like we were coming... more

We stayed in the Orchid Suite for twenty nights in January 2008. The suite is advertised as the "smallest" of their suites but it was just perfect. The inn is well laid out for privacy and thoughtful touches to keep sound to a minimum. The lanai was large and we spent most of our time outside. The bed was "heavenly"... more

What a Find! We stayed at the Kauai Country Inn for 12 nights in October 2007. We found the inn to be immaculate, spacious and well appointed. Its conveniently located only minutes from the beach, the town of Kapaa – and, for that matter, everything else on the island! Our time was divided between the Plumeria and Green Rose suites... more

This is the only place I've ever stayed where I felt bad about the rate upon checkout. Kauai Country Inn is an absolute steal. We loved it here. A few specific points about the property which may be helpful: 1. The inn is located 8 to 10 minutes inland from Kapaa. A lot of people told us, "You're going to... more

My wife and I stayed at the Kauai Country Inn for our honeymoon on August 4, 2007 and we stayed for the week. The room we stayed in was the Green Rose Suite and it was beautiful. Mike and Martina are wonderful hosts and can help you with various questions you may have about the island. The room itself was... more

We stayed here for 4 nights while in Kauai. It was perfect. Our suite comprised a bedroom, kitchenette/living room, bathroom and small patio. The owners were super welcoming and sweet people, we really enjoyed meeting them. They also recommended what turned out to be one of the BEST restaurant I've ever eaten at--the Blossoming Lotus. If you go to Kauai,... more

We stayed 4 nights at the Kauai Country Inn and had a great stay. With only 2 of us we chose the smallest accommodation in the Inn, but it was more than enough for us. The Inn isn't in the centre of town, but the island is small and it isn't far from any of the tourist attractions Kauai has... more

My wife and I were going to get married in Maui but a friend of mine recommended Kauai instead and in perticular the Kauai country inn so we called and spoke to Mike and Martina Hough who were very gracious hosts and made our wedding and our stay perfect and unforgetable. It's now the only place we will stay when... more
