My wife and I stayed in the Green Rose suite for eight days (4/22/2012-4/30/2012). When we walked in we were simply stunned. The space, the sense of being outside while being inside, captivated us from the start. It is difficult to really explain what made it so special and perfect for us. Although we traveled around Kaua'i almost every day,... More

We just got back from a 2 week stay on Kauai. We booked Kauai Country Inn's Plumeria Suite for the whole stay. What a gem! It's a sort-of B&B, hosting 4 full suites. (I say "sort-of" because they have suites rather than just typical B&B rooms, and it's not in somebody's house either -- it's 4 separate suites and the... More

We only stayed here one night, but it was lovely. We had the Orchid Suite. Everything you could possibly need was in this room! They had a mini kitchen set-up, complete with microwave, coffee maker, blender, little fridge, dishes, cutting board, you name it, they had it! They even had a little cooler and refillable water bottles for your use... More

Absolutely loved the Green Rose Suite at Kauai Country Inn! Didn't want to go home...so airy and roomy. Great bedroom looking out at the sky and trees, listening to the birds singing (even got used to roosters crowing at 2:30am!!). Beatles museum tour fun & informative. Martina and Mike are perfect hosts. The location of the Inn at the edge... More

Finally at home or in paradise ... that were our feelings, as we drove into the driveway of the Kauai Country Inn and saw the building and the wooded surroundings. We parked our car in the reserved parking space and entered our suite. There we were greeted with the sounds of the tropical outdoors ... if you are looking for... More

The Kauai Country Inn can actually best be described as a Bed and Breakfast because of the complimentary breakfast that is served in the entrance hall each day at 8:00 AM (9:00 AM during weekends). There are pastries, cornflakes, coffee and tea available and you can decide for yourselves whether you feel like sharing your honeymoon schedule with the other... More

We spent our honeymoon at KCI after being married on Lydgate Beach using the inn's wedding service. The Plumeria Suite was the perfect island getaway for us. If you want a place that is secluded yet self-contained, this is it. The suite had a full kitchen with a large fridge, roomy master suite and a huge bathroom with a jetted... More

This was the 3rd place my husband and I stayed at while on our honeymoon in Kauai, after staying in Poipu and Waimea. We fell in love immediately with KCI. You pull in to your designated spot (we stayed in the Green Rose Suite) and found an envelope with our names on it with our code to enter the suite.... More

Although The Kauai Country Inn is listed as a bed and breakfast it is more accurately characterized as an inn with self-catering suites. Staying there feels like having your own apartment. And there's even free laundry! We stayed for five lovely nights in the Orchid Suite, which had a spacious bedroom with a deliciously comfortable bed, air conditioning, closets, cupboards,... More

Thank you for the great review, we truly appreciate it, and are always happy to hear when guests had a great time. We have staff, usually our manager Jeff, put out a free continental breakfast daily and help guests with any questions they many have about their stay at the Inn or the Island in general. Breakfast is usually a... More

We were a party of five so we were surprised to find a house like this that had a suite that would accommodate us.. We had the Plumeria Suite with two bedrooms and a daybed in the living area. This suite also had a wraparound lanai and when we stepped out on it we felt like we were in the... More
