This place rocked! Built by a shipbuilder, its meticulously crafted, exquisitely decorated, and so very comfortable. Loved coming home to this place every evening and sharing a bottle of wine on the wraparound lanai. Every amenity was available including the outdoor shower and snorkeling gear. Washer and dryer included too. First night there we were treated to a wonderful rain... More

I spent 4 night in this B&B and i was very suttisfied about it, it's not on in the middle of the "life" and to find a shopping center you have to take the car and it's 4 miles far, but it's amazing to sleep! first of all it's not far from POI and the owner are great they can... More

We loved Hale Lani! We liked that our unit was very private, at the back of the house. Rather than having breakfast in a common dining room, breakfast was delivered to our own private screened in room. The room was clean and spacious. The owners were friendly and allowed us to use their snorkeling and other equipment. They had plenty... More

What a find! As we drove up to the house we weren’t quite sure what to expect as it is in a neighborhood which for some reason caught me off guard. We stayed in the smallest unit but Sandy gave us a tour of the two bed unit which would be great for two couples or a family. The one... More

We stayed as a couple in the smallest unit for a bit over a week and really enjoyed our stay. Lots of privacy, everything in perfect working order and you certainly can't beat the price: a shoulder-season special meant that the cost worked out to around $100/day. A yummy substantial breakfast was included daily that always had fruit or juice,... More

This is our first time staying in a B&B and i was very happy we did. The Hale Lani had all the comforts of home private outside kitchen, BBQ and your own private jacuzzi. The daily breakfast comes hot and delicious with fresh fruit. We went to the local market and stocked out mini fridge with drinks and munchies. Owners... More

Our stay here was great. Ruth greeted us with a warm welcome and all kinds of goodies in our studio. We ate breakfast on our porch most mornings, and it was always delicious. It is a little out of the way, but not by much, and you don't feel like a tourist crammed onto the island. I would definitely recommend... More

The island of Kauai is welcoming and this B&B is as well. I read the reviews and expected what we got. The inn keepers were nice, accomodating and helpful. Like other reviews state, don't expect a typical Hawaiian experience, but that isn't a totally bad thing at all. Hawaiians don't all live the steryotype image we have from movies and... More

Overall this place is an excellent value and was enjoyable except for one problem (see below). It's not near town or near the beach, but that's part of what keeps the price down - it's only a 10-15 minute drive to either, depending on traffic. The rooms are very clean and very well kept up - nothing broken or chipped... More

We usually stay beachfront in the tropics, for sun time and snorkeling. My travel agent said on Kauai, the beaches are not necessarily the best part - you really should try this place in the mountains, and she was right! Yes, it does look like an ordinary neighborhood, but the drive up to this neighborhood is very scenic and passes... More
