We stayed at 3 b&b places on the island and this one was for sure our favorite. Too bad it was the last place we stayed or we would have stayed there the whole time. It had an amazing view, it was very clean, and breakfast was sooooo good. The owner of the place was very friendly, we both really... more

When my husband and I first arrived, we were disappointed. We were instructed to call the owner the day before and let him know we were coming. So, my husband called the day before to give him a heads up, even though we thought that was a little strange. When we arrived at the B & B, the owner was... more

I'm surprised by some of the reviews here! This place was amazing! The owner was absolutely lovely to us. We made the mistake of going to stay at another b'n'b in Hanalei and boy did we regret it. We also had such a lovely time with the other guests and the housekeeper that we came back to go partying with... more

I find the negative reviews astounding and glad I ignored them. This place was a real find. I have also stayed in many, many B and B's and really struggle to find a criticism of this place or the proprietor. It is not for rowdy party animals, and yes, if you are noisy (for whatever reason!) its not the place... more

My wife and I stayed in the Kings Room. A very large and very clean room with very nice furniture and a comfortable bed. The owner is very friendly and helpful with good recommendations about beaches, restaurants, or other activities. We used our credit card to reserve the room through a travel agency, but yes, he does not take credit... more

I have stayed in many B&Bs around the world and never disappointed – until this one. The owner does not take credit cards, payment in advance by check. That should have been the first red flag. Rooms are dark and dingy, furniture seems to have come from a second-hand shop. The waterfall mentioned in their website is not to be... more

We just spent 12 nights at Mohala Ke Ola B&B in Kapaa, Kauai, and LOVED it!!!! The B&B is located in a neighborhood on a ridge above a tributary of the Wailua river, but the follage is too dense to see the stream, though you can hear the water rushing over rocks. Even though there are neighbors, you wouldn't know... more

Stayed in many b&b's but this one makes you feel like you are in a PRISON! If you can find it. The street address is on an old rusty mailbox with one of the numbers apparently missing for a long long time already. Three nights was three nights too many. And over priced to boot!! Yes, a nice backyard that... more
